JOB SUMMARY
This is an exciting opportunity to obtain hands-on Pharmaceutical Formulation development experience at a fast-growing biotech company. As a formulation Intern, you will support the BioCryst Formulation and Product Development Team across a variety of efforts, including employee/internal communications, external communications, planning studies and execution of plans.
Over the course of the summer, the internship will require first, to gain practical knowledge on preformulating and formulation techniques used to develop Pharmaceutical dosage forms (e.g. tablets, capsules, liquids) This will be achieved through independent research and guidance from a mentor(s). The intern will need to gain knowledge and become proficient with operation of equipment such as: blenders, tablet presses, homogenizers, and coating systems. In addition to the equipment mentioned above, the intern will need to master product characterization techniques/instruments to understand product performance.
Pulling it all together: As the intern masters the fundamentals above, readiness for the research will begin. The intern will apply a practical approach to develop or modify a pharmaceutical dosage form, study the chemical and physical attributes of a New Chemical Entity (NCE). The intern will have the opportunity to access and interpret the data generated and make decisions on next steps under guidance from the mentor(s). At the end of the internship, the intern is expected to give a presentation on all findings to select BioCryst employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions • Performs diagnostic imaging procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation. • Positions patient, equipment, associated devices and manipulates technical factors to achieve high quality images for interpretation. • Utilizes critical thinking skills to recognize patients' physical limitations pertaining to age specific needs. • Delivers appropriate patient care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures. • Identify, acquire, and document pertinent patient history relative to procedures. • Develop ability to assess Radiographic Images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring all relative anatomy is demonstrated. • Applies principles of radiation safety to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others. • Applies appropriate standard of precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent cross-contamination of communicable disease. • Develops proficiency in contrast material and adverse reactions to contrast media. • Adhere to Orlando Health policy, procedures, protocols, mission statements and commitment to excellence standards. • Learn the necessary skills required of a licensed Orlando Health Radiologic Technologist so that they will be equipped to work independently upon graduation and successful completion of introductory period. • Develop necessary skills to utilize all Corporate Radiology computer systems (EPIC, PACS) effectively and accurately. • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. • Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. A Marketing Technology Intern at Motion specializes in designing, developing, and managing activities for a specific software product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and user narratives as the product(s) move to production and distribution.
Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Technology Intern, you will join a development team focusing on custom written applications and interfaces for mission critical business functions.
Collaborate with business and enterprise excellence teams to gather requirements and prioritize features.
Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Assist in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog (Defects and Enhancements)
Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
Learn to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
Gain practical experience in product discovery, backlog management, and sprint planning.
Develop a deep understanding of SAFe Agile methodologies and their application in software development.
Qualifications:
Working on a BS or BA degree in marketing, business, communications, computer science or related field
Working knowledge of SQL, HTML, JavaScript or Python
Working knowledge of Marketing concepts and Marketing Technology
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, MS Customer Insights or other related marketing tech platforms a plus
High Level understanding of full lifecycle development
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform marketing strategies
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), ability to work within a team
Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance
Individual must be a self-starter and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
Capable of learning new tools and technologies and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to provide strong problem-solving skills a variety of methods
