**Description:**

The Director, Cancer Programs and Women's Surgery is responsible to provide operational leadership to the interdisciplinary cancer and women's surgery team(s). This is accomplished through directing, supervising, and coordinating functions and activities of multiple internal and external organizational entities and programs to assure effective, efficient and safe care and to facilitate the accomplishment departmental, divisional, and organizational goals.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Accountable for effective deployment and utilization of clinical, human, material, financial, technological and information resources.

+ Serves as the lead person for assigned departments/programs in establishing/maintaining positive relationships with customers, senior management, including the Medical Staff.

+ Accountable for business development, strategic planning, developing, and operating programs for the Cancer Institute and division of Women's Surgery, including both inpatient and outpatient programs and services.

+ Responsible for program applicable accreditations.

+ Accountable and responsible for planning and executing promotional programs, accreditations, and activities geared towards the Women's Surgery program for Holy Cross Health.

**What you will need:**

+ Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or MSN) or Bachelor's degree with equivalent progressive experience inappropriate health care settings.

+ A minimum of 2 to 4 years administrative management experience in a health care environment, including developing/implementing new programs.

+ Demonstrated experience in establishing working relationship across institutional boundaries.

+ Strategic thinker with business development and marketing strategies
