Job Description
The Compensation Programs Manager will be responsible for analyzing, managing, administering, and communicating the Hospital's compensation programs including job descriptions, position evaluation, internal equity and external market analysis, salary administration, and variable pay plans. The Compensation Programs Manager will ensure that compensation programs, policies and practices enhance the Hospital's ability to attract, retain, motivate and engage employees and are compliant with regulations, union agreements, plan documents, and policies. As a subject matter expert, the Programs Manager will counsel HR business partners and leadership on job descriptions, career ladders, and develop and recommend programs, policies, and procedures. The Programs Manager will oversee participation in salary, benefits, and HR metrics market surveys; manage the administration of incentive compensation plans, job descriptions, step and performance-based pay programs; conduct research and analysis that support labor negotiations and compensation/job-related issues. The Programs Manager will be accountable for improving salary administration and compensation management processes and will partner with others to improve management reporting, employee communications, performance management, and HRIS utilization.
Qualifications
BS/BA degree in human resources, business, social science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Eight years of experience in human resources and/or finance as an analyst, recruiter, specialist, or generalist with at least three years compensation or total rewards analysis experience.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with management staff
Proven ability to lead teams and influence outcomes.
Knowledge of computerized information systems used in human resources applications; Workday a plus
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills including the development of complex spreadsheets and presentations, and experience preparing, documenting and presenting narrative reports and statistical analyses

This role ensures our internal and external facing processes include meaningful analytical data and trend insights that are timely, accurate, informative, and complete. This role is part of a team whose core objective is to deliver a simplified, modernized, and humanized experience for all areas the ER COE touches within the Delta Air Lines HR employee ribbon.
The Program Manager will actively work across the larger team to ensure efforts are well understood across ER COE, HR partners, and divisional partner groups. This individual will help ensure consensus on priorities, and that all deliverables meet business needs and balance long term flexibility and speed to market for the ER COE.
+ Support implementation and maintenance of Smartsheet as centralized mechanism for maintaining a consolidated view of ER COE efforts planned and underway
