Texana Center program support technician job description
The Program Support Technician (PST) works in the BeST program covering two campuses. The PST receives administrative and employment supervision from the Senior Manager. The PST works closely with families, employees and the community. Duties of this position include but are not limited to the following: assisting the manager and senior manager; entering service data and client notes; inventory, shopping, stocking, delivering and tracking supplies (program, cleaning, office) for two locations; vehicle fleet management including registrations, scheduling maintenance, trouble-shooting, usage tracking and documentation; client care and programming including PRN staff coverage, regular assignments to various programs/clients as needed; regular cleaning and maintenance including power-washing, window cleaning, and general cleaning/sanitizing when necessary; driving for supply acquisition and client programming in various community settings while meeting all safety standards. The PST will office primarily out of the Rosenberg location, but will also work on the Fulshear campus as necessary in order to provide support to the programs on those campuses as well. The PST will cross train with other administrative employees as instructed. The PST will ensure that work is in compliance with Texana Center procedures and is responsible and accountable for the adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy. Hours are 8am-5pm M-F with flex time based on needs of the department.
Salary
- 90% - $15.00/hour at start
- 95% - $15.84/hour at 6 months
- 100% - $16.67/hour at 1 year

- Must possess and maintain a current, valid Texas Driver’s License and be insurable by Texana’s insurance carrier.

- Must be able to perform SAMA and CPR. Training is provided to employees once hired.

General Statement

BASIC PURPOSE
The purpose or the Adult Rehabilitation Program (ARP) Resident Manager/Administrative Support is to provide supervision to the ARP residence and provide support to the finance and business office.
RESIDENT MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following description of responsibilities is a broad outline of job duties:
+ The Enforcement of house rules and overall security of the ARP during evening and early morning hours.
+ Crisis intervention with beneficiaries as necessary, in the event of crisis contact Program Director/Corps Officer(s).
+ Implementation and supervision of leisure time activities, both in and out of the ARP.
+ Conducting bed checks as scheduled.
+ Assuring that the residence facility is dept clean and orderly.
+ Monitoring activities in canteen area, day rooms, and food service department when Kitchen Coordinator is off.
+ Conducting and administering random and routine drug and alcohol testing for beneficiaries.
+ Responsible for enforcing the policies of The Salvation Army relating to residents and maintaining confidentiality as required by law.
+ Documenting violations of ARP policies and house rules and reporting to the Program Staff and/or appropriate department officials each morning.
