1. Supervises clients throughout the shift to ensure client safety. Including client counts, supervised smoke breaks, and client downtime. Support clients in completing their activities of daily living (ADLs) for themselves and their child.
2. Responsible for supervision of Self- Administration of Medication process, under the guidance of the Nurse and Medical Director. Assist nursing staff in ensuring clients’ medication and medication room policies and protocols are always followed.
3. Provide transportation for clients in company car as scheduled to ensure safety and compliance with medical appointments for themselves and their children, connection to community resources and basic needs. Supervision of clients off-site during these trips and appointments as appropriate.
4. Facilitate Psycho-Educational group sessions with clients. Topics to help clients achieve their treatment plan goals include but are not limited to; Parenting, household management, budgeting, job readiness and obtaining basic needs.
5. Responsible for completing shift notes, documenting events that took place on shift and observation of client’s behavior and symptoms. May be responsible for completing incident reports as necessary.
6. Complete Supervised Drug Screens, utilizing a trauma-informed approach. Documentation of these screens and communicate any concerns to the clinical and medical team.
7. Responsible for childcare when clients are engaged in therapeutic services on site. Assisting and supporting the child with age-appropriate play and activities.
8. Assist clients daily in completing their assigned chores, including assisting clients with meal prep for themselves and the house, ensuring that all regulations of The Department of Public Health are followed.
9. Complete routine bed checks, educating on and ensuring safe sleep guidelines are followed by clients.
10. Complete random room searches with the support of a supervisor and bag searches when clients return from community passes or outside appointments to ensure client safety and compliance with program policies and protocols.
Qualifications:
Must display a willingness and ability to adapt to new situations and challenges. Must consistently maintain a pleasant, professional attitude. Must demonstrate an ability to exercise exceptional judgment and meet high standards of customer service. Must exhibit initiative and accept accountability for tasks. Must be able to develop positive working relationships with our clients and their children and must abide by the Code of Ethics. Individuals must act as positive role models to our clients and their children.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree/two years of college in a Human Services related field is preferred. Work experience as a substitute may be considered. Experience working with cases similar to those served and working in a Residential setting is preferred. Training preferred on the following topics; Treatment Criteria for Addictive, Substance-Related, and Co-Occurring Conditions (ASAM), Co-occurring disorders, including prevalence, signs/symptoms, assessment, treatment, and the impact of one’s own attitudes/beliefs on the delivery of services and the use of naloxone in response to an opioid overdose.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required and CPR and first-aid certification must be obtained upon hire if not already held and must be maintained. Employer will provide CPR/FA training on-site.

Full time : 2nd shift (4:00 PM -12 midnight) flexible schedules available.
Pay rate: $16.00/hr
Full time: 3rd shift (11:30 PM - 8:00 AM) flexible schedules available
Pay rate: $16.50/hr
Per Diem: Per Diems are used to cover the First or Second shifts primarily and to cover full-time regular staff vacations/holidays/days off. Must have availability to work 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 4:00 PM-12:00 midnight; during the week, or on weekends. Must be willing to commit to 3 shifts per month plus one major holiday per year.
