Job Summary
The Python Software Engineer develops scripts, applications, and solutions across the full suite of Audio, Video, Control -- and Building System spaces -- focusing on solving the problems that can't be solved traditionally. The team focuses at the intersetion of physical spaces, AV systems, building systems, and artificial intelligence. Join us as we not only imagine the future of intelligent spaces -- but develop them! Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
* Write python code to support research, AI, and data activities within the applied research team.
* Code review and ideation.
* Support demonstrations, lab activities, and tradeshow presence.
* Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
* Fluent knowledge of Python and implementation across Windows and Linux required.
* Experience with LangChain, MCP, RAG A2A required
* Experience with typical python libraries (async, json, typing, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) required
* Experience with Docker required.
* Experience in BMS (Building Management Services) or A/V (Audio/Visual) systems and programming a plus.
* Experience in Microsoft Azure a plus.
* Experience with Weights and Biases a plus.

The range for this position is $93,000 to $167,400. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant's experience and geographic location.
