General Summary
This position is responsible for assisting in the administration of the accident prevention program and the corresponding laws that relate to the safety of our work, for an assigned location in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures.
Essential Job Accountabilities
Promote compliance with the company safety program and local accident prevention efforts to ensure company safety goals are met.
Assist in the development and implementation of safety related programs to meet or exceed company safety standards.
Perform and document jobsite inspections and audits with special emphasis on hazard recognition, unsafe behaviors and correction of potential third party, asset loss and workers compensation losses.
Assist in the preparation and performance of safety meetings and training programs to ensure the effective communication of company policy and safety standards.
Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Assist in the development and review of job hazard analysis for each major phase of our work to ensure its safe completion.
Assist in the investigation, preparation and maintenance of records of all third party, asset loss, and worker's compensation claims to make certain that Company interests are preserved.
Assist in the follow up with the corporate insurance department regarding claims, to ensure that the appropriate information is collected and that claims will be resolved in a timely manner.

The Kensington Mine is an underground gold mine located within the Berners Bay Mining District about 45 miles north of Juneau, Alaska.

Primary Responsibilities
Providing assistance to the Survey Technicians and Professional Land Surveyors by applying sound technical skills and knowledge of surveying learned in college courses and acquiring practical experience in broad areas of assignments in the field and office.
Project site support could include travel to locations in the greater Anchorage area and throughout Alaska in rural and urban areas, documenting field conditions with photographs, generating concept-level sketches, and/or setting up field surveying equipment to perform all types of land surveying in support of engineering projects.
Project organization support, including filing, purging, archiving, and general file coordination.
General operations assistance, including as-needed event and project coordination, equipment maintenance, and resource management support.
Project research and support, including assisting with the completion of calculations, reports, specifications, drawings, and manuals.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Program Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the administration of the APICDA Training and Education programs. This includes implementing program policies, researching and gathering resources, and communicating and collaborating with our community members, industry partners, regional entities, and educational institutions. The Program Specialist plans and oversees APICDA-sponsored program activities, reports feedback on the successes or failures of projects, programs, and activities, and ensures consistency in the quality of work by allocating the necessary resources for these programs. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Update and maintain the grant management system; administer applications, track disbursements, manage data, and develop reports.
Provide technical assistance to scholarship recipients and prospective recipients related to the application process, payment, and reporting requirements.
Conduct outreach as needed to ensure application information is complete and accurate; perform due diligence based on compliance and program policy.
Build and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with scholarship recipients; send reminders about missing documentation and certification, and deadline reminders.
Maintain and update training and education program materials, applications, policies, procedures, processes, and program results.
Analyze data, both quantitative and qualitative, to evaluate the effectiveness of training and education programs, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

This seasonal full-time position provides the opportunity for progressive responsibility and training under the direction of a licensed Professional Land Surveyor, with an opportunity to continue working part-time during the school year.
CRW is a growing multidiscipline engineering and surveying firm with offices in Anchorage, Palmer, and Seattle. Our staff of nearly 100 provides planning, design, and construction support services for federal, state, municipal, tribal, and private clients on projects in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will obtain surveying experience in rural and urban communities throughout Alaska, performing boundary & subdivision plats, topographic, right-of-way, ALTA, Hydrographic, UAV Aerial, and Laser Scanning surveys.
Will have the opportunity to work on many different types of projects, including road improvement, water and sewer, drainage and site improvement projects, restaurants, schools, power plants, bulk fuel, water treatment plants, airports, flood modeling, and riverine and coastal erosion.
Utilizing Leica GPS, robotic, laser scanning surveying equipment, Leica & DJI drones, and Sonarmite DFX echosounder hydrographic equipment. We often use 4-wheelers, snow machines, and boats to perform our work. In the office, the work includes data reduction and mapping using Leica, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Pix4D software.
Primary Responsibilities
Providing assistance to the Survey Technicians and Professional Land Surveyors by applying sound technical skills and knowledge of surveying learned in college courses and acquiring practical experience in broad areas of assignments in the field and office.
Project site support could include travel to locations in the greater Anchorage area and throughout Alaska in rural and urban areas, documenting field conditions with photographs, generating concept-level sketches, and/or setting up field surveying equipment to perform all types of land surveying in support of engineering projects.
Project organization support, including filing, purging, archiving, and general file coordination.
General operations assistance, including as-needed event and project coordination, equipment maintenance, and resource management support.
Project research and support, including assisting with the completion of calculations, reports, specifications, drawings, and manuals.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
Shall be a surveying student enrolled in surveying courses at an ABET-accredited surveying program.

Coeur Alaska is seeking a motivated Occupational Safety and Health student to complete a summer internship with our Safety group at the Kensington Mine in 2026 (May through August). The Kensington Mine is an underground gold mine located within the Berners Bay Mining District about 45 miles north of Juneau, Alaska.

Our summer internship program will provide you with the opportunity to gain real-world, on-the-job experience at one of our US operating mine sites. Interns are mentored throughout the summer by industry professionals and given ownership of projects with a tangible impact on the mine. Internship experience typically spans about 12 weeks.
Each intern will be creatively and technically working together to create a group presentation, highlighting a company area of improvement. The summer internship experience truly culminates with all interns traveling for an expenses paid trip to Chicago! This includes each group presenting their project, meeting and learning from key company leaders, as well as networking with their fellow bright early careers participants across the company.
What We're Looking For:
Undergraduate entering Junior or Senior year.
Pursing a Bachelor's degree in related field to internship discipline desired
Potential areas of focus: Occupational Safety and Health or Industrial Hyiene
Minimum GPA 2.5, preferred GPA 3.0 or higher
Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the country of hire without requiring current or future sponsorship for employment.
Must be 18 years of age or older
Candidates that are eager to demonstrate leadership potential, strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work individually and within a team
