This role is part of Corporate Compliance and supports the Compliance Oversight Program for Global Third Party Management (Global Procurement and Third Party Risk Management) and Global Realty. The role reports into the Global Third Party Management and Global Realty Compliance Manager, Vice President. This position is well suited for an inquisitive individual with experience in business process analysis, control testing, interpretation of global outsourcing regulations and who has a strong interest in joining a top tier financial services firm and building their compliance knowledge.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home (1 day per week) and the office (4 days per week) to match your needs and role requirements.
The team is based out of Boston, Princeton (NJ), and Kansas City.

What you will be responsible for
As TPRM/Outsourcing Compliance Advisory Analyst, AVP you will
Support the administration and execution of the Compliance Oversight Program, meeting key deliverables. This includes designing and performing monitoring activities over the First Line of Defense through Compliance Advisory Reviews
Monitor and analyze new and modified global regulatory changes that impact outsourcing and TPRM to support regulatory change analysis and potential impacts to State Street
Perform risk assessments and analyze business processes to identify potential control gaps or weaknesses.
Review compliance issue closure documentation
Assist with the preparation of reporting to Compliance Senior Management and the Business Risk Committee
Develop working relationships with other members of Compliance and Compliance leadership team and work collaboratively with the Business Risk Management Team

Ensures proper and eligible labeling of specimens and observes all requirements of the chain of custody form; ensures the integrity of specimen custody and control. Prepares, maintains, and updates all necessary documentation associated with the Authority's alcohol and drug testing program. Operates automated data processing equipment to enter data and access files and to generate reports and data summaries. Testifies as a subject matter expert in arbitrations and other legal proceedings; concerning test results and alcohol and drug test collections process. Provides collection services in off-site collection sites covering all locations and work shifts, including weekend and holidays. Collects urine specimens and conducts drug and alcohol testing in compliance with DOT/FTA regulation and WMATA policy maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with established protocol.
REQUIRED AND DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Associate of Applied Science degree from a CAAHEP-accredited college program; or completion of (2) years of college or university work in allied health sciences from an accredited institution and/or an Associate Degree in Allied Health Sciences and a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a medical technician in a hospital/medical setting is required.

CLASS DEFINITION
A Program Compliance Assistant performs paraprofessional program compliance work by collecting and documenting data observed at program sites. The work of this class involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities.

Nature of Work:
The Certification and Compliance Assistance Supervisor works with the educational and licensing aspects of the pesticide program relating to pesticide applicator certification. The Certification and Compliance Assistance Supervisor assists pesticide businesses to achieve compliance with pesticide laws and rules. Work is conducted in cooperation with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, United States Department of Agriculture, West Virginia University Cooperative Extension Service, local governing bodies, and industry and applicator groups.
Examples of Work:
Assist government, private and industry groups with certification and recertification workshops to achieve compliance with pesticide laws.
Promote the principles of Integrated Pest Management to provide for the reduced use of pesticides and reduced risk to the public.
Supervise Certification / Training Assistants and Compliance Assistance Specialists
Prepare educational articles, pamphlets, manuals, and training programs in regard to pesticide education, certification, and recertification.
Write, edit, and maintain certification examinations for commercial and private applicators.
Work with government and industry groups to implement pesticide training and safety programs as required for Regulated Pesticide businesses.
Contact pesticide business groups needing licensure as a Regulated Pesticide Application Business and offers training and educational assistance in achieving compliance.
Assist with EPA Emergency Exemption and Special Local Needs requests.

Working Conditions:

Who we are looking for This role is part of Corporate Compliance and supports the Compliance Oversight Program for Global Third Party Management (Global Procurement and Third Party Risk Management) and Global Realty. The role reports into the Global Third Party Management and Global Realty Compliance Manager, Vice President. This position is well suited for an inquisitive individual with experience in business process analysis, control testing, interpretation of global outsourcing regulations and who has a strong interest in joining a top tier financial services firm and building their compliance knowledge.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home (1 day per week) and the Boston office (4 days per week) to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As TPRM/Outsourcing Compliance Advisory Analyst, AVP you will
* Support the administration and execution of the Compliance Oversight Program, meeting key deliverables. This includes designing and performing monitoring activities over the First Line of Defense through Compliance Advisory Reviews
* Monitor and analyze new and modified global regulatory changes that impact outsourcing and TPRM to support regulatory change analysis and potential impacts to State Street
* Perform risk assessments and analyze business processes to identify potential control gaps or weaknesses.
* Review compliance issue closure documentation
* Assist with the preparation of reporting to Compliance Senior Management and the Business Risk Committee
* Develop working relationships with other members of Compliance and Compliance leadership team and work collaboratively with the Business Risk Management Team

Education & Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent. JD preferred
* 6+ years of work experience related to financial services audit, compliance, and/or bank regulations.
Salary Range:
$80 000 - $140 000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
