It is a very inclusive work environment, where they care about their employees, and care about the development of them.
I love sales. I am great at it. Building relationships, and offering products to customers that are designed to help them. With my job, there is no cold calling for the sales either, so that makes the job less stressful. However, there is no commission offered, and it really seems as if the company does not value there sales reps. People who are working in sales for progressive do not have the ability to make a career out of it. Even when progressive and it's upper level management meet with you to discuss the advancement in your career, they push you into other fields, like claims, or management, which require a different skill set. If you are a type of person who enjoys talking to other people, and finding solutions to better suit their needs, a job in sales at progressive would be a great job, however bear in mind, it is just that. A job, not a career.
Gainshare. Depending on how the company performs throughout the year, all employees will receive a check in December, which is designed to receive at least 8% of your salary.
True to the Core Values in everything, superb tenure of employees, really competitive benefits.
Base salary. One could move vertically over time, but it's quite difficult to move laterally into another job category without relocating to Cleveland, or experience that current positions do not provide. SOME people move from sales to actuary, but the vast majority stay in their specific category for their whole career here.
Work from home, didn't have to pay for the licenses, and one year I got an Apron from the commercials...
Work from home, gainshare bonus, good 401k match and average PTO
DEI and political rhetoric is shoved down your throat. They are only inclusive to others with their very liberal views. There is no tenure in leadership. Most leaders have only been with the company for a couple of years. It’s a mess.
I like being able to work from home
