The Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) is one of 21 Regional Centers that are community-based, private non-profit corporations under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services. Key Responsibilities:
Case Managers are an integral part of realizing our dream. Under general direction, Case Managers are responsible for the entire case management process, including: assessment and evaluation, planning, authorizing, advocacy, monitoring, reviewing documentation for completion.
Facilitate the planning process and develop the Individual Program Plan (IPP) or Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) for assigned Consumers and oversee the implementation of the IPP/IFSP. Monitor and evaluate the services provided through the plan.
Coordinate and support the implementation of the Consumers plan which may include identifying natural supports and generic services and evaluating when a need exists that can only be met through RCEB authorized funding.
Advocate on behalf of consumers to protect their rights under the law and ensure that they receive those services and benefits to which they are entitled.
Assist the consumer and family in obtaining essential diagnosis and evaluation from appropriate practitioners and secure written reports and other information which assesses and interprets the consumer's situation.
Monitor the consumer's health and safety.
Maintain all documentation and contacts as required by law, regulation and policy.
Implement RCEB policies and procedures.
Complete, in a timely manner, functional and/or developmental reviews.
Keep supervisor informed of the status of the case load and unmet needs in the community.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification:
Case Manager I
BA Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related human services field and 1 year similar experience. OR B.A. in an unrelated human services field plus 4 years of experience working directly with the developmentally disabled.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing.
Automobile and valid driver's license required.
Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity and an ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations.
Case Manager II
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related human services field.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing.
Automobile and valid driver's license required.

As a Benefits Analyst, you will perform the tasks which are part of the QDRO Administration services, which includes reviewing incoming paperwork and processing requests as per the defined procedures in the administrative system, along with responding to the associated parties.

Core Responsibilities:
Process and evaluate draft and court-executed domestic relations orders (DROs) to ensure compliance with ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, and client plan requirements for 401(k), Profit Sharing, Defined Benefit Pension Plans, and other retirement plans
Respond to correspondence and legal documents from plan participants, former spouses, attorneys, and QDRO specialists with customized or system-generated letters
Perform complex earnings and loss calculations on retirement plans for segregation of spousal awards
Provide expert customer service support to plan participants, dependents, retirees, attorneys, and child support agencies regarding benefit program requirements and provisions
Administrative & Compliance:
Maintain current knowledge of IRS and DOL requirements related to domestic relations matters and plan guidelines
Verify proper authorization forms are on file before releasing benefit-related information
Establish and maintain accurate database records, monitor system-generated reports and ticklers, and ensure all correspondence and actions are properly documented
Maintain confidentiality and ensure plan information is not released inappropriately; handle sensitive calls professionally while maintaining neutrality
Collaboration & Communication:

Required Qualifications:

Duties: Client Centered Activities
Provides medical assessment for individuals referred to RCEB's intake and assessment unit. Assessment may include evaluation, review of pertinent medical records, and consultation with assessment team and current providers.
Performs history and physical examination on new and existing clients, when indicated to evaluate and determine medical and developmental status.
Communicates with community physician and health agencies to obtain and share information and facilitate or arrange for additional treatment. Monitors client's health status to ensure that level of medical supervision is adequate.
Participates with and provides consultation to case managers and interdisciplinary teams, to make recommendations for on-going case management.
Provides consultation to health professionals and agencies in regard to developmental and health status and needs of an individual client.
Serves as advocate to ensure that adequate and appropriate health services are made effectively available to developmentally disabled individuals.
Duties: Client Centered Activities
Provides education and general consultation for case managers/assessment counselors and other Regional Center Staff.
Works with community professionals and agencies towards increasing the developmental disability care expertise in the community.
Participates in efforts to upgrade and enhance programs for clients in general.
Participates in professional organizations, serves on committees, and works with colleagues towards professional and public education.
Represents agency at meetings of community physicians.
Minimum Qualifications:
One year's experience with persons with developmental disabilities.
Licensed as a Physician in the State of California.
Residency in pediatrics preferred, consideration will be given to candidates with background in internal medicine or neurology. Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics board certification preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in a human services field with two years paid experience as a Case Manager supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (or) Bachelor's degree in human services with four years paid experience as a Case Manager supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. (or) Bachelor's degree in human services with four years paid experience managing a program proving supports to people with IDD.
Knowledge of Title 17 regulations as it relates to resource development.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to develop a course of action with follow through within timeframes.

The Overnight Mental Health Crisis Therapist provides crisis intervention to people across the lifespan, including adults, children, and families who are experiencing mental health or substance use concerns. Services are provided in the community by mobile response. DEFINITION:
Legislation established a 1:40 case manager to client ratio for these identified caseloads which may include children over the age of 3 years living at home, and adults who reside independently in their community or with family. These positions will work to reduce disparities and improve equity in purchase of services, identify and resolve barriers to accessing services and supports; enhance the relationship between individual and family and RCEB. The overriding goal is to empower individuals and families who speak another language and/or are from communities of color and currently have low to no purchase of service, identify and to partner with RCEB and other community agencies to overcome barriers to those services. The position works in collaboration with RCEB's Cultural Diversity Specialist and other Departments within RCEB to identify innovative approaches to service delivery. These positions are the result of new funding made available in the 2021/2022 California state budget.
NATURE OF WORK:
Under the general direction of the Supervisor, the Specialized Case Managers in these positions will provide enhanced case management and advocacy for individuals and families on caseloads comprised of individuals currently with no purchase of service authorizations at all or low purchase of service authorizations. Using person-centered planning to address the complex needs of those individuals and families who speak another language and/or are from communities of color. The Specialized Case Manager will demonstrate culturally competent skills including valuing diversity, cultural self-awareness and knowledge of other cultures. The Specialized Case Manager will assess for cultural and linguistic barriers and identify the unmet needs of the individual and family. Upon that determination, the Case Manager will empower individuals to partner with Regional Center and other community agencies, and assist in identification of new resources that are culturally relevant to our community. The Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) is one of 21 Regional Centers that are community-based, private non-profit corporations under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services. RCEB provides intake, assessment, diagnosis, and coordinates community-based services for over 25,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Duties:
Serve as assistant to the Associate Director and perform administrative and supervisory functions to assure that effective case management services are provided. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Perform the duties of the Associate Director in his/her absence.
Interview, select, train, assign, schedule, supervise, and evaluate the performance of assigned staff.
Provide general information regarding regional center services by telephone or at meetings.
Recommend and develop organizational methods and/or procedures.
Provide case consultation.
Participate in and coordinate client related staffing/conferences in developing Individual Family Service Plans and problem resolution. May include collaboration with service providers and other agencies.
Serve as consultant or liaison to local educational agencies and other community partners.
Monitor, review, and report case movements and recordings (IPPs, Annuals, Quarterlies, case transfers/closures, etc.)
Monitor case management provided by assigned staff.
Participate in program development, evaluation and/or facility reviews.
Develop and provide in-service training and orientation to staff as assigned.
Attend regularly scheduled Supervisors' meetings and other agency and community meetings as assigned.
Participate in site-monitoring and self-assessment reviews with Department of Developmental Services.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in human services or related field preferred. Bachelor's degree in human services or related field accepted.
Minimum 4 years Regional Center experience, preferably in case management.
Two years supervisory experience preferred. This may be substituted with demonstrated leadership roles in projects, taskforce, etc.
Automobile, valid CDL, and insurance.

What You'll Need :
· Clinically licensed and able to practice without supervision
· 3 or more years of post-graduate counseling experience
· Professional Liability Insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 per claim and $3,000,000 per aggregate
What You'll Do:
· Accept or decline referrals within our contractual parameters.
· Conduct EAP counseling services via in person tele, or video.
· Enter clinical notes into database, bill, and update your provider profile when required in our provider hub.
· Notify TELUS Health immediately of any complaints, citations, or investigations that could result in the suspension, revocation, sanction, reprimand, limitation, qualification, or termination of your license/credentials.
· Act in a professional manner with our clients and the TELUS Health team.
· Comply with all TELUS Health's policies, procedures, and guidelines outlined in this manual and in your contract.
