Mission The mission of the Project Engineer is to support the project team to facilitate successful project outcomes by coordinating with the client, the field, vendors and subcontractors to ensure projects are built on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Own plan and specification reviews, employ expertise to clear roadblocks for the most efficient field installation. Ensure plans and specs, submittals, RFI's and FCD's are updated in Procore, and, if plans are also printed, ensure the correct information is available in the Field. Review SIP's and Earned Hours/TRACK for accuracy and trends, reporting wins and challenges to the project team. Responsibilities 4Creeks is seeking a Civil Engineer to work under the direction of a licensed Civil Engineer on our Land Development team. Responsibilities for this position would include designing a wide variety of private development projects such as single-family or multi-family housing subdivisions, commercial real estate development projects, and industrial parks. Other responsibilities include helping manage project budgets, building client relationships, quality control of Land Development projects and overall project management. In addition to managing projects, this role may include the management and mentoring of Engineers-In-Training and CAD Production staff. This position will include both office and fieldwork. Field work will be at project sites and are typically within a 50-mile radius of Visalia, but may occasionally require out of town travel or extended stays. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years post-licensure experience in civil engineering and project management. B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred. Candidate must be a licensed Civil Engineer The ideal candidate will have working knowledge in preparation of plans, engineering design for various engineering projects, and exceptional written and oral communication skills. Responsibilities for this position would include preparing calculations, assist with preparing technical reports, technical exhibits, and construction plans. Other responsibilities include drafting topographic surveys, spreadsheet calculations, technical specification writing, site visits and documentation of site conditions for typical civil engineering projects.
