What you'll be doing:
Design and implement multi-modal ML models that can understand and extract information from various document types (IDs, proof of address, etc.)
Fine tune LLMs for automated document processing and risk assessment.
Design model for ascertaining user onboarding risk and triggering Know-Your-Customer and Enhance Due Diligence models.
Create real-time ML pipelines that can detect and prevent risks before they materialize
Work with experts to translate their domain knowledge into ML features and models
Build explainable ML systems that can justify their risk assessments
Collaborate with platform teams to deploy models at scale with high availability and low latency
What we look for in you:
8+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning (or PhD+5)
MS in Machine Learning, Computer Science, other technical field (PhD preferred)
Strong developer experience with ability to leverage auto-code generation techniques for ML and scalable distributed applications.
Strong foundation in modern ML techniques (DNNs, transformers, LLMs, classification)
Experience building and deploying production ML systems at scale.
Ability to balance ML model complexity with production requirements
Strong communication skills to work effectively with domain experts
Nice to have:
Background in fraud detection or risk modeling
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in financial services

Minimum Requirements:
As a successful candidate you will hold a:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering. Higher education is desired, but not required.
Minimum 20 years of experience, within the CCS value chain, including in CO2 storage projects and a strong understanding of geological and engineering considerations, as well as the various trapping mechanisms, either in saline formations and/or depleted oil and gas reservoirs.
Expert understanding of the various stages of CCS processes and related technologies, including, capture processes and technologies (e.g. chemical absorption, physical separation), CO2 transport mechanisms and its economic considerations, CO2 storage mechanisms, and the various uses of CO2.
Familiarity with the various costs across the entire CCS value chain.

Position Overview:
Instrument and Controls (PE-IC) is responsible for controls design and instrumentation application associated with FTI projects. The candidate will be knowledgeable of PLC and DCS technology platforms and their applications, and have the ability to generate or review and approve project documentation such as functional descriptions, panel layout drawings, logic drawings, controls lists (BOM, I/O, Alarm and Setpoint Lists) as well as complete Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) in vendor locations or in the commissioning phase of projects in the field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform I/C project duties and support projects as required
* Perform component selection and logic sequence design
* Interface with Controls suppliers, vendors, consultants and contractors
* Review I/C information / drawings from sub-contractors
* Write Functional Description, Sequences of Operation, Equipment Manuals, System Descriptions, and design criteria for I/C systems

* Keep Sub-contractors informed on FTI project schedule requirements to ensure on-time delivery of components and systems.
* Maintain proper electrical and I/C record keeping and storage (cut sheets, design documents, drawings) .
* Be available to help FTI field personnel troubleshoot day-to-day field electrical and I/C issues
* Knowledgeable in both ISA and KKS tagging platforms and capable of generating such tagging schemes based on client requirements.
* Working knowledge of eWon or other remote networking capabilities.
Technical Skills Required:
* Programming Allen-Bradley PLC products. Emphasis on Control Logix family (Control Logix and Compact Logix) and some understanding of SLC 500, MicroLogix.

We are seeking an Instrumentation Engineer with extensive experience in Instrumentation utilized for the final control, monitoring and safety of Gas Plants, NGL Fractionation Plants, Refineries, petrochemicals plants, Pipelines and Distribution facilities, to join the Process Automation and Systems Division, which is part of the Process & Control Systems Department.
Process and Control Systems Department provides services in the field of process engineering, automation, new energy and digitalization to various entities within Aramco.
As an Instrumentation Engineer your primary role will be to provide instrumentation engineering expertise to the various Aramco entities including designing, developing, installing and troubleshooting. You will work with different disciplines such as operating sites, instrumentation engineering, facility planning, and project management. Additionally, you are expected to participate in the organization and company initiatives including safety programs, innovation programs, operational excellence, knowledge sharing, self-development and other programs as required.
Key Responsibilities:
As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
Provide support with all types of instrumentation including but not limited level, temperature, pressure, control valves, Emergency Isolation Valves, Motor Operated Valve, Relief Valves, flow measurement, level gauges etc.
Originate and carries out engineering studies to determine optimal solutions to complex technical problems, increase revenue, reduce cost and improve process safety.

Minimum Requirements:
As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
Bachelors' degree in Engineering preferably in Instrumentation, Mechanical or Electrical engineering. A Master's degree or PhD in Engineering is desired but not required.
Minimum 20 years of professional experience as an engineer in charge of technical work in field of specialty. Previous work with a major international Oil & Gas Company and/or previous employment with one of the Instrumentation suppliers used by Company is desired.
Must have experience in plant instrumentation sizing and selection (Control valves, Pressure Relief valves, Actuators, Basic Process Measurement etc.)
Certified in ISA- Certified Automation Professional (CAP), Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP), TUV FSEng, Principles & Practice of Engineering (PE) certification, or Chartered Engineer (C.E.) license or registration
Basic knowledge of H2S, LEL, pH, conductivity, O2 analyzer, CO/CO2 analyzer, fire & gas detectors and Gas chromatographs is preferred.
Proficiency in the International codes and standards used within the oil and gas industry, i.e., API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.
Have participated as lead engineer in HAZOP, SIL, P&ID, Design and model reviews.
Understanding of control systems, compressor and pumps field instrumentation, speed controllers, Vibration Monitoring Systems (VMS), Compressor Control Systems (CCS).
Understanding communication protocols like DNP3, Modbus, FieldBus, TCP, IEC, SPA, RP570, ANSI and General Process Automation Protocols.
Have been an active member in a relevant professional society, (ie. ISA, IEEE, etc.) for a minimum of 3 years and hold current membership.
