The Controls Electrical Design Engineer is an individual contributor position within the Bastian Controls group. This position is responsible for tasks relating to the Controls schematic design, hardware specifications, and implementation of shared services that support other Controls engineering teams. The Controls Design Engineer collaborates closely with their team leader and peers, ensuring all design deliverables meet or exceed project expectations. Essential Functions
Develops precise CAD drawings under the direction of Controls Hardware Lead and Controls Project Team members
Create and maintain electrical schematics using EPLAN Electric
Review control panel designs to identify and correct quality issues.
Participates actively and on time in scheduled meetings, including Controls staff meetings
Strives to deliver designs within budgeted time and resources
Communicate with Electrical Installation, Project teams, and Panel shop for design changes through project lifecycle.
