Maintain the schedules and forward momentum of large and small projects, in order to meet customer and market-driven demands.
Work with machine shops and other vendors in order to optimize design manufacturability and meet deadlines.
Be an instrumental part of a cohesive electrical and mechanical engineering team to collaboratively work on developing new products, troubleshooting problems, and achieving performance, reliability, and cost improvements.

Summary - As directed by the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor or designee, the Facilities Engineer duties and responsibilities include:
Reading and analyzing blueprints, drawings, as well as rough sketches.
Maintains and updates the plant layout as required.
Improving the facilities operations by designing facilities infrastructure.
Preparing detailed facilities reports and compliance documentation.
Analyze the impact of safety and environmental compliance on proposed projects.
Maintain a thorough understanding of air wastewater, hazardous waste, and related laws/regulations.
Using mathematical techniques and CAD modeling to assess or forecast past, present, and future environmental problems.
Analyzing project costs and preparing budgets.
Maintain technical competency and remain current in technology and changes in the industry.
Assists M.E. with design, implementation and troubleshooting of tooling, manufacturing processes and equipment.
Maintains project management, including using project management software and M.E. requests to track progress and help highlight upcoming targets for M.E. Group.

Production Transition support:
· Review quality and inspection data, perform product sample reviews and make design decisions, identify and support value-add / value-engineer opportunities for cost and manufacturing efficiency
· Support and troubleshoot the introduction of new products into mass production, developing functional requirements and test plans.
· International travel: Approximately 2 to 4 trips to overseas facilities in Taiwan, China, and/or Vietnam
· Regular communication with overseas teams outside of typical office hours

Requirements
Education:
· A bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Electronic Engineering
Experience:
