Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
The ProjectEngineer assists the Project Manager/ Executive by tracking and maintaining records that are associated with submittals, costs, deliveries and payroll at the job site. The ProjectEngineer is also responsible for tracking and maintaining all safety communications, manuals and records.
Safety:
Prepare and give weekly Toolbox Talks, Daily Safety Huddles and maintain records.
Maintain a file for One Call Center requests to ensure no utilities are damaged during construction activities.
Maintain a retrievable filing system for the Hazardous Communication Program - MSDS.
Maintain the Project Safety Manual, make periodic jobsite safety inspections and record/file all findings.
Maintain records of site safety inspections and track all injuries that occurred on the project.

Verbal and written communication skills are essential to this position.

EXPECTED WORK HOURS
This is a full-time position, generally 40 hours per week, however, hours may fluctuate depending on department needs including the use of overtime.
CobbFendley's standard operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM CST. Generally, employees receive a 1-hour unpaid lunch break free of duty. Please note, operating hours and lunch hours may differ based on project workload, primarily for field staff.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The ProjectEngineer assists the Project Manager/ Executive by tracking and maintaining records that are associated with submittals, costs, deliveries and payroll at the job site. The ProjectEngineer is also responsible for tracking and maintaining all safety communications, manuals and records.
Safety:
Prepare and give weekly Toolbox Talks, Daily Safety Huddles and maintain records.
Maintain a file for One Call Center requests to ensure no utilities are damaged during construction activities.
