The Hydronics Engineer will perform mechanical engineering work covering product engineering and product development. This role will apply design engineering principles and practices, managing assigned portions of product development projects. This person will manage multiple project activities in parallel and may lead projects through completion. Position Responsibilities: Works with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to develop product requirements based on customer needs. Analyzes systems using a variety of engineering tools including, but not limited to, FEA, analytical formulas, benchmark designs, etc. Run through sizing and optimization exercises for pumps, valves, and flow control devices Familiar with piping layouts, design, and material selection, including, but not limited to, PVC, Stainless Steel, Copper, HDPE, etc. Uses DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFMA tools to improve the quality and reliability of designs. Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) Assures that full and accurate documentation is produced for the designs that are moving into commercialization.
