A customer spec lands on your desk-by mid-morning you've translated it into a practical controls architecture, balancing PLC logic, motion profiles, and HMI flow. After lunch, you draft schematics in AutoCAD, finalize a bill of materials, and send panel machining drawings to manufacturing. You jump into a quick call with sales to prep for a prospect demo, then wrap by validating I/O mappings and documenting results in the project record. Some weeks include short trips (usually under 5 days/month, occasionally international) to commission systems and present solutions. What you'll own Analyze customer requirements and propose controls strategies that meet specifications. Design, test, and implement complete automation solutions across PLC, motion, and HMI layers.
