The engineer will manage day-to-day field engineering, ensure technical compliance, and help drive the project through fabrication, outfitting, testing, and trials over a two-year build period at ESG's Allanton and Port St. Joe, Florida yards.The candidate is a hands-on, technically grounded marine engineer with strong experience in new construction shipyard environments-someone comfortable walking the deck plates in the morning and reviewing complex vendor drawings by the afternoon. They excel in translating engineering intent into practical field execution and thrive in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder projects that demand coordination, attention to detail, and proactive communication.
