To be a Senior Waterproofing / Structural Engineer typically requires 5 to 7 years of related experience. Qualifications: • +5 years of experience • Florida Licensed Professional Engineer • Certified Infrared Thermographer (preferred) • Certified Document Technologist (preferred) • Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering or Structural Engineering (MS is preferred) from an accredited university is preferred. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software. • Expertise with civil/structural analysis software including operating and interpreting results. • Knowledge of the discipline specific methods, practices and techniques required to engineer, design and construct process and manufacturing projects. • Experience in working with various types of materials including wood, concrete, steel and aluminum. • Experience working with engineers and architects and the ability to understand all parts of engineering contract documents. • Experience performing onsite inspections, leading progress meetings and coordinating with contractors and field staff. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
