Scope of work generation and compiling of procurement packages (drawings, specifications, etc). * Ensuring packages are managed in a way to ensure the completion of high-quality works, that meet the Project's budget and schedule. This includes vendor/ contractor interface management. * Provide schedule updates and ensure packages are on time. * Work closely with the Project Manager / Project Superintendent to ensure all requirements to execute the work are available and supported in a timely manner. * Coordinate multi-discipline efforts for timely preparation, evaluation, and recommendation of sub-contract packages, including direct responsibility for preparation of Scope of Work and other Tender Schedules. * Oversee change management and provide breakdowns of commercial financial changes, for approval by management. * Provide support in writing risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) and the coordination with operational/ construction team on safe and high-quality methodologies. * Provide support during construction/ operations with technical issues and involvement of developing efficient and safe working procedures. * Provide support during quality and commissioning phases of the package. * Active role in safety management on site. * Provide input for weekly and monthly reports (as required). * Assist in the mentoring of junior team members. * Other related duties as may be assigned. EXPERIENCED HEAVY CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEER In our work, details matter. As a Project Engineer, assigned to one or more of our projects, you'll be responsible to keep track of the details.
