SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
This position serves as support for operations on the jobs in which they are involved. Responsibilities range from participation in initial project set up and buyout, cost spread/estimate familiarity, job quantity tracking, on-site daily activity involvement, concrete material tracking, equipment and manpower productivity tracking, invoice approval, extra work ticket tracking, participation in job cost reporting, project safety compliance, quality control compliance, production analysis/tracking.
This position will require travel to jobsites, 50% travel is likely.

Education/Experience/Attributes/Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Construction management or Engineer recommended.

**The Job You Will Perform:**
+ Responsible for engineering and managing the installation of equipment within corrugated manufacturing facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Lead technical municipal engineering project activities focused on water systems, wastewater systems, utilities and roadway design
Serve as primary client contact
Lead, coordinate, and build teamwork among other members in all necessary disciplines

What you'll do
* Own capital projects from scoping and estimating through commissioning and plant acceptance-on time and on budget.
* Coordinate MEP construction and cross‑functional teams (OEM technicians, contractors of all trades, plant personnel).
* Design/spec equipment & panels (OEM equipment, automation panels, hardware) and manage P&ID reviews.
* Lead installation & I/O checkout, start‑up, and acceptance testing; drive field execution with clear timelines.
* Develop and maintain schedules & cost controls: WBS, scheduling reports, cost/cash‑flow forecasts, change orders.
* Guide controls & automation: direction/support for PLC ladder logic and HMI applications; collaborate with corporate controls/automation on network integration and controls work.

Experience:
A recent graduate or early career Engineer Intern with 0 to 3 years
License/Certification: Successful completion of the Fundamentals Of Engineering (FE) exam and designation as an Engineer Intern (EI) with interest in obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
