    This operations position serves as a technical expert on Geosteering, horizontal well execution, and evaluations. The position is part of the team providing operational and technical support for Edge Systems' Geosteering clients. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing pre-job modeling / feasibility studies, Geosteering operations during the drilling phase, end-of-well analysis with recommendations, and any support needed to satisfy the client's requirements / needs. This high-profile position's main objective is to ensure proper placement of the borehole within the client's specifications. The position requires direct contact with the clients' operations teams, and ensures that all deliverables are created and supplied to the client in a high-quality and timely manner. Duties and Responsibilities Display excellent customer service with clear communication, exceptional attention to detail, topnotch accuracy, and first-class deliverables. Function well in a team-based environment but be responsible for individual work products. Provide technical expertise for the planning, execution, and post-well analysis of horizontal wells on which Geosteering services are being utilized. Model offset data to determine the feasibility of Geosteering within reservoirs and given geological / physical constraints. Recommend best procedure for a successful wellbore. Monitor real-time data, provide real-time interpretation, and execute directional decisions to ensure proper placement of the borehole within a specific target. Integrate with client geology, geophysical, drilling, and completions teams for the planning and execution of their horizontal well programs. Give technical presentations to support Geosteering services including feasibility studies, Geosteering interpretations, and end-of-well analyses. Promote the integration of other Edge Systems' services for a comprehensive customer solution when and where appropriate. Work Environment Work rotations consist of working 12-hour shifts on both days or nights. Must be able to work fourteen days in a row prior to taking days off. Must be able to perform at a high level under very stressful environments and short deadlines. Experience with azithumal GR and how to interpret. Broad knowledge of LWD and wireline logging technologies and operations. Proficient in Python, TIBCO Spotfire, and Microsoft Power BI for data analysis, visualization, and reporting. Experience integrating XRF, Mass Spectrometry, and additional analytical datasets into geologic and operational data logs for enhanced subsurface interpretation.
