Jo has over 35 years of financial and accounting experience working in various industries, including pharmaceutical, chemical, high-value transportation, investment, public relations, public & tax accounting, and non-profit where she has over 23 years of experience.

Other non-profits she has worked for are the International Rescue Committee (Director of Accounting), Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (Assistant Director of Budget and Finance), and CARE (Assistant Director of Financial Operations).

Jo is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in NYS and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baruch College.

She graduated from Tottenville High School. Jo has four sons who are all native Staten Islanders and live with her long-time boyfriend Armando.
