What you will do:
To manage Fire projects up to $150k Parts & Smarts and / Security >$50k and
Under general direction, acts as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete projects with assigned customers. Performs or delegates tasks as required to execute and fully complete assigned projects including installation coordination, and project closeout. Responsible for the overall financial results of assigned projects including costs, project billings, and collections. May validate complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation. Facilitate completion of accurate project as built and commissioning documentation.
May perform validation document peer reviews prior to customer submittal to ensure technical accuracy and compliance to customer requirements.
Reviews documents for technical accuracy and consistency with project requirements and may assist in obtaining protocol approval from customer representatives when required.
Ensures that delegated tasks are done accurately, on-time, billed, within budget and within scope of the contract.
Effectively communicates the status of projects to Project Lead and management as required and assists in preparing monthly forecasts of revenue, costs, and gross margin.
Sends warranty letters to JCI customers upon substantial completion of project and ensures proper execution of warranty.
Provides proper documentation and manuals for system operation.
Develops and maintains viable long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants and subcontractors. Attends job progress meetings as required.
Adheres to all safety standards with a high degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
What we look for:
Prior experience related to Mechanical Retrofits, HVAC controls, BAS Installation, Fire Installation, Security Systems Installation or Master System Integration Installation is desired.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (excel, word, power point, MS project), Adobe Writer, Visio and MS Windows environment.

This includes managing project plans, resources, and commitments to the customer, as well as partnering with sales, carrier relations, and the customer to develop implementation project plans. In addition, the Management Systems & Implementation team works with management and peers to develop consistent methodologies based on best practices to efficiently implement solutions.
**Accountabilities**
+ Possess strong project management skills for leading implementation plans for projects and on-going administration of efficiency and standardization.
+ Responsible for leading customer implementations onto the OptiFreight Same Day/Regional Next Day program,
+ Leading customer implementation calls and solution development
+ Creating and managing project plans
+ Coordinating setup activities with internal and cross-functional teams
+ Communicating project milestones to stakeholders
+ Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to and interacting with customers including facilitation of meetings.
+ Capable of adapting to change and able to successfully perform in an evolving environment.
+ Results oriented, ensuring we deliver on commitments while also working to continuously improve processes.
+ Strong listening and problem-solving skills and ability to develop plans to improve process efficiency.
**_Qualifications_**
+ Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
+ 2+ years' experience in customer-facing and support roles preferred
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
+ Previous experience in implementation/project management required
+ Ability to lead and execute customer projects.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and able to deliver solutions and plans to customers
+ Ability to stay organized while managing multiple projects at once
+ Strong written, verbal and presentation skills to all levels of an organization

**Anticipated salary range:** $80,900 - $115,500
