The individual will assist with submitting extramural funding proposals, operationalizing and activating clinical trials, and will play an integral role in the development and expansion of the program. The Neuroimmune Psychiatry Research Program studies the relationship between infection, inflammation, immunity and neuropsychiatric disease to improve diagnostics and therapeutic interventions. Job Description The Project Manager (PM) Energy Solutions provides direct project management services for the deployment energy solution projects assigned by the Program Manager or Senior Managers. The PM will manage, develop and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, construction and site acquisition teams as well as operations back office personnel to ensure all customer specific requirements, deliverables and schedules are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage client projects to ensure all requirements and expectations are met in a specific time frame as determined by the client and SAI Management. Primary interface to the designated project managers on assigned projects and is required to report to all appropriate client and SAI stakeholders, as well as leadership, on the status of particular projects. Accountability is generally at the market level, for quality, schedule and cost objectives related to all projects assigned. Work with all SAI counterparts associated with the assigned project and scope, to ensure coordination efforts and communications are in sync to meet project objectives. Responsible for data integrity for their assigned projects, working closely with individual team members within SAI, its contractor and its clients, to ensure all activities and reporting are accurate and timely. Initiate, lead and attend necessary meetings / calls with client, SAI teams and / or vendors to keep programs on schedule using early problem resolution and with client's ongoing expectations. Read and interpret documents such as zoning and construction drawings as needed to ensure scope of work is properly executed across all entities to include bills of materials and purchasing of materials. Work closely with client project management in regards to cycle time & duration objectives. Ensure process requirements are met and adhered to as well as all documents placed in clients document repositories. They work with clients to understand their roofing goals and needs, then build a schedule for their crew to follow. Roofing Project Managers oversee the entire roofing process and ensure everything runs smoothly for the project to be successful. To support this, some of their responsibilities include taking inventory of the workers' equipment and tools, updating customers on the construction status, conducting regular site checks to review the workers' progress and ensure they're following proper safety standards. In-house Roofing PM Responsibilities • First point of contact for a customer when a new contract is sold by the sales department • Thorough review of the contract in conjunction with the in-field roofing PM to determine the profitability of the contract within 72 hours • Schedule pre-install inspections with the in-field roofing PM, the salesperson, and the customer • Build a relationship with our vendors and order materials based on a material list created by the in-field roofing PM along with dumpsters to job sites • Assign subcontractors and in-house crews to projects and maintain a constant schedule of ongoing work • Create work orders for subcontractors using our pricing guides and maintaining the expected profit margin on projects • Oversee each project in conjunction with the in-field PM and ensure customer satisfaction along with profitability • File for permits if necessary depending on the state or town • Ensure all costs are accounted for and logged in each roofing project along with receipts and invoices Requirements The following are potential requirements that are needed to be or become a Roofing Project Manager. Provide feedback, advice, and updates to clients regularly on the overall cost performance of their projects. Manage cost reports produced by others (job cost reports, forecast reports, change order logs, allowance logs, contingency logs, etc.) Subcontractor/Supplier Responsibilities: For all assigned projects, manage the procurement of materials and subcontractors. Negotiate subcontract terms and conditions, in partnership with DEWs Corporate General Counsel. Manage the subcontractors performance of their subcontract scope. Manage the subcontractors payments. Schedule Responsibilities: Develop master baseline schedule for all assigned projects, in partnership with the Superintendent. Review schedule and productivity of each project, with the Superintendent, regularly. Update the master schedule regularly. Each week, provide a three-week look-ahead schedule to the project team and subcontractors. Closely manage the procurement process of materials (contracts, submittals, fabrication time, and deliveries) to ensure that material is delivered to the project on time. Manage the closeout of the project in a timely and complete manner.
