Job Description
The Project Executive leads and manages a business unit responsible for profit and loss aligned with overall company business plan. The Project Executive role has overall accountability for ensuring construction projects are performed in a safe and effective manner. This role is fully responsible for cultivating and securing opportunities for future projects by providing excellent customer service, injury free environment by ensuring safe work practices, maintaining quality assurance, and building financially successful projects that are driven by company directives. The Project Executive typically oversees 25+ millions in annual revenue volume depending on types of markets; with Senior Project Managers and Project Mangers reporting to them as well as administrative staff.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Managing all business aspects with their team for multiple concurrent projects concurrently ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining established quality standards.
Actively manage the workload, professional development, and client development skills of project management staff. Promote client development while developing professional skills of project management staff.
Promote positive customer relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all contractors, subcontractors and vendors, and continually instilling this philosophy in the business unit with regards to safety, quality, customer service and profitability.
Initiate, execute, and document a quality pre-con, start-up meeting aligned with company standards.
Accountable for contract management, claims and disputes resolutions.
Work with Estimating department to review estimates, RECAPS and turnover as well as the ability to estimate and procure electrical projects in a competitive market successfully.
Acts as a mentor for new and existing Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Assistant Project Manager on their team.
Perform weekly/monthly reviews with teams to ensure adherence to schedules, quality of work, safety, administration and profitability.
Ensure qualified personnel are in place for making specific assignments that will meet project deliverables and make specific project assignments to meet project needs.
Schedule, facilitate, and document project close out meetings. Verify project data sheets and photos (with client's permission) for all completed projects.
Drive division profitability through effective project execution.
Develop the organization to achieve excellence through continuous improvement. Support lesson learned activity and implement identified initiatives.
Ensure adherence to EC Electric's standards of quality, safety, and best practices.
Recruit, manage, and develop the group of direct reports.
Responsible for work assignments, hiring, termination, promotions, and performance appraisals, as needed.
Review the overall contractual requirements/ risks for all projects.
Manage project review process with emphasis on insuring quality financial forecasting.
Ensure construction estimates are completed to align with project workflow and customers' master schedule.
Proactively and systematically communicate challenges, risks and successes to the team and all direct reports.
Provide and maintain annual business plans in conjunction with the company overall, updating results on a quarterly basis.
Demonstrate a consistent ability to conduct daily tact and professionalism in communicating with external and internal customers.

Requirements
Minimum 15 years' experience in selling, estimating, and managing multi-million dollar
Industrial Construction or Advanced Technology projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering plus 10 years' construction project experience; or in lieu of degree, 5 years' experience as an Electrical Foreman or General Foreman on large projects, plus 10 years as a Project Manager required.
Proven record of successful relationships and marketing skills, preferred.
Superior knowledge of electrical codes and construction methods, required.
Must have proven experience managing 100k+ man - hour projects.
Proven experience with heavy power distribution systems, instrumentation installation, and process control and system integration, required.
Thorough applied knowledge of project QA/QC procedures and system turnover.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of competency in labor, material, and contract management.
Competency in earned-value tracking, labor efficiency index, and crew composite factors.
Proven ability to complete a detailed take off and all required estimating for electrical projects.
Relevant experience in electrical subcontracting is a must.
Benefits
Salary range for this position is $160,000-$225,000 annually.

JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the whole project lifecycle from start to finish at C.R. Contracting.
