Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for program management of Transportation projects and acting as ProjectManager for designated strategic projects. We will look to this individual to develop fresh, creative, and effective ideas that drive transparency, process optimization, compliance, and cost savings with the overarching target of broadening and strengthening our service level to our stakeholders and customers. We are looking for an individual who is motivated to make a difference in an area that is ripe with opportunity. This role requires knowledge of overall supply chain, sound financial acumen, and knowledge of logistics as well as their inter-connectivity to upstream supply chains and downstream customers. Excellent communication and partnership skills are essential as the role interfaces with a broad stakeholder base including operational teams, supply chain leaders, global process owners, customers, and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Program Management: Oversee and manage multiple strategic transportation projects simultaneously, ensuring they are on track and aligned with organizational goals. Develop detailed program plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular comprehensive updates to stakeholders.
ProjectManagement: Lead specific transportation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement transportation strategies that support business objectives. Analyze transportation processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices, innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs.
Stakeholder Management: Liaise with key stakeholders (e.g., Logistics Planning, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Carriers) to ensure business objectives are achieved.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project success.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed reports on program and project status, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of program and project activities.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in transportation logistics. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program and projectmanagement processes.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.

APTIM currently has a career-growth opportunity for a ProjectManager to support our growing backlog of environmental remediation project work. The preferred candidate would be an engineer or scientist with prior experience managing Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) projects, Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) system retrofit projects, or Perfluoroalkyl Substance (PFAS) remedial actions in a technical or management role who desires to transition into a Program Management career track. Strong preference for experience supporting US Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville Alabama contracts. Preference for work experience at Redstone Arsenal. Prior experience with bidding Federal projects required. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are a must, including the ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both written and verbally, to all project team members including client representatives and regulatory personnel alike. Open to applicants nationwide however preference for individuals located in Huntsville, AL or Knoxville, TN.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform setup, execution, and tracking of projects.
+ Applies technical expertise to improve effectiveness and provide guidance to project team members.
+ Perform various project administration support activities from initiation through project closeout.
+ Manage/support proposals under USACE multiple award task order vehicles.
+ Provide project estimating, cost tracking and schedule support.
+ Assists in the preparation and facilitation of internal and external project meetings with project team and clients.
+ Support project planning and execution in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.
+ Manageproject records in accordance with corporate policies.
+ Coordinate project closeout activities.
+ Strict adherence to company safety and quality programs
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in managing environmental remediation projects.
+ Experience managing DoD-funded projects; USACE project experience preferred.
+ Possess a Bachelors' degree or higher in a scientific or engineering discipline.
+ Currently certified as a ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) or ability to readily obtain.
+ 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour refresher certificate preferred.
+ Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
+ Willingness to work occasional overtime, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.
+ Occasional travel required.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $125,00 to $135,000. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
