Responsibilities

Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects. Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff. Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers. Generally reports to a Program Manager.

1. Manages the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
2. Defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment.
3. Supervises professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplines.
4. Schedules tasks and coordinates with various team members to accomplish the results.
5. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
6. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
7. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

Must be a US citizen Must have or be able to acquire Secret Clearance and DEA suitability

Preferred Skills and Experience

PMP or CSM certification Experience working in an Enterprise Architecture environment

Here's the Gist:
Wolfspeed is hiring a Scrum Master/Project Manager for our Information Technology (IT) Manufacturing Systems team. This person will work with IT and internal business stakeholders to deploy innovative digital solutions related to manufacturing execution systems (MES), automation and controls, new technology and new product development, quality, and supply chain. Projects will range in scale from quick enhancements to large initiatives across Wolfspeed's global semiconductor business. The ideal candidate has project management experience, a desire to drive digital transformation, strong communication and organizational skills, and a leadership mindset.

The Day-to-Day:
Meets with internal business stakeholders to determine business needs, scope of work, and prioritization.Develops and monitors the project schedule, resource allocation, and deliverables.Interfaces with technical personnel to gather task status, identify gaps, and drive execution.Directs the creation and maintenance of the required project documentation and artifacts.Provides weekly project updates to stakeholders.Monitors and coordinates dependencies across projects and resolves conflicts.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
At least 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager/Scrum MasterStrong verbal and written communication skills An aptitude for engaging others to resolve obstacles Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering-related discipline Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing operations preferred

PURPOSE:

This individual also acts as a project manager for our new product commercialization team, ensuring all critical product launch tasks are completed on time and on schedule. Ensures all stakeholders are informed and any roadblocks are resolved. This is a Hybrid role: 3 days onsite and 2 day Remote


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


+ Oversees JIRA work management tool


+ Manages agile marketing processes and sprint planning/reporting across teams


+ Conducts team member agile/work management training and coaching as needed


+ Manages all new product launch activities with team members


+ Works to resolve any roadblocks quickly with stakeholders to keep launches on track


+ Runs regular NPD preparedness meetings ahead of Stage-Gate calls


+ Enters tickets for all commercialization deliverables for new product launches


+ Ensures all content/inputs are collected ahead of work commencing


+ Coordinates manufacturing alerts with Engineering


+ Coordinate outside vendor activities as needed


+ Oversees other projects as needed


EDUCATION:


+ Associates degree or higher in a business-related discipline.


MANAGEMENT:


+ This position has no direct reports


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


+ Project Management Experience


+ Good organizational skills and detail oriented


+ Demonstrated ability to manage projects (resources, time, and budgets)


+ Experience with workflow management software; JIRA experience


+ Familiarity with agile marketing concepts


+ Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


+ Project Management Certification highly preferred


+ Agile Project Management Software experience
