Procurement
Develop bidders list, including ability to analyze information in CPS and be aware of local market capabilities
Develop overall bidding strategy for projectManage distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders, including solicitation of bidders and management of data within CPS
Organize and conduct pre-bid meetings
Manage bidder question process
Manage development of work scopes and mentor others on their creation
Develop front end documents for bidding based on project needs and requirements of owner contract
Receive/evaluate bids and conduct post-bid reviews
Write subcontracts, both standard subcontract orders and more complex types such as professional services or design-assist
Planning
Initiate setup of a complex project schedule and creation of activities and logic, with no/little assistance on durations and schedule flow.
Develop site logistics plans in conjunction with superintendent
Set up a multi-element cash flow and manpower projection analysis at varying stages of the project
Prepare constructability reviews to determine completeness of documents
Review estimates prepared by preconstruction group for potential scope holes
Initiate set up of jobsite, including mobilization of trailer and setup of jobsite staff
Field Operations
Establish and oversee the safety plan at the jobsite; set safety culture at jobsite
Ensure punchlist process is completed in a timely manner
Assist with management of labor relations with field personnel, including interactions with unions
Implement emergency crisis procedures and ensure staff is appropriately trained
Manage owner equipment coordination process
Facilitate Mechanical/Electrical overhead coordination or BIM process
Cost Management
Create and manage general conditions budget. Monitor and update projections on a monthly basis
Establish non-reimbursables based on interpretation of contract; work to minimize their usage
Set up trade budget structure and log into Prolog
Review budget entries of others and evaluate reports for accuracy
Regularly monitor project costs and effectiveness of change management process
Oversee creation of cost items in prolog and issuance to contractors
Assist with processing changes to owner agreement
Support jobsite cash management, including monitoring of job profitability and timeliness of payment
Management
Facilitate meetings with the project team
Supervise and mentor project, jobsite staff
Ensure RFIs and submittals are being appropriately processed by the engineering staff
Ensure office procedures are implemented, including filing system, correspondence formats, start-up documents, closeout documents, and archiving
Manage ultimate agency acceptance of the project, including serving as an interface to code officials
Involvement in seeking repeat and new business sales
Assist with response to RFPs and preparation of presentations for new projectsManage job site relations and communicate needs with the Architect/Engineer
Requirements:

**In this role you will:**
+ Lead teams providing technical guidance to Ship's Force relating to work on Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) and aviation equipment and systems which interface with combat support systems, and hull support items such as damage control equipment for flooding and fire, climate control/ventilation systems, tank and voids, plenums, etc., habitability improvements, and piping systems. + Oversee the performance or provide guidance IAW Corrosion Control Assessment and Maintenance Manual (CCAMM) for the Maintenance System Work Package Planning (MSWP) (T-9630-ABMMD-010/all USN hulls) to Ship's Force with training, inspection and reporting of tanks, voids, plenums, bilges, catwalks, pump room decks, and Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) station decks. + Develop updated training package to the TYCOM and to the RMCs. Provide formal on-board operator and maintenance training to Ship's Force.

**Qualifications**
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**
+ Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of seven years' experience in related engineering management field, or Associates Degree with fourteen (14) years' experience in related engineering management field.
+ An active DoD security clearance is required.

We're looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant ProjectManager to join our Winter Garden, FL office. This position assists in the planning, scheduling, and controlling of design, construction, procurement, and operational planning for major construction projects. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Follow and assist in developing procedures for controlling contract documents and project documentation.
Support the ProjectManagement Administrator in setting up new projects within the projectmanagement system.
Assist the project team in obtaining permits and ensuring all required approvals are in place.
Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to develop and maintain the site utilization plan.
Assist with reviewing and coordinating project loss prevention, sustainability, and quality control programs.
Proactively review and process all submittals, shop drawings, and material data, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the project schedule.
Maintain accurate administrative logs, including RFIs, RFPs, IRNs, submittals, and general document control.
Serve as the onsite quality manager for assigned trades, verifying materials meet approved submittal requirements.
Attend and participate in project meetings; assist in preparing progress reports and meeting minutes for distribution.
Distribute proposal and change documents to subcontractors and suppliers; assist in collecting pricing and preparing internal change proposal reviews.
Ensure all clarifications, changes, directives, and RFIs are updated on as-built drawings and fully coordinated with the project team.
Perform quantity take-offs and support senior members of the preconstruction team in developing estimates.
Participate in constructability reviews and support the preparation of final construction documents.
Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements
2-3 years of progressive experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant ProjectManager with a Commercial General Contractor.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
Proficiency in construction management and scheduling software, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities to prioritize work, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
Minimum 2-year Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
