As an Air Quality Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will perform a variety of services regarding atmospheric emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications and compliance with various regulatory programs. Job duties will include performing engineering calculations, compiling permit application documents, meeting and coordinating with clients to obtain and understand project information, communicating with agency personnel, and evaluating control technologies for client facilities. This position will also include management of CEC air services projects, including scope, schedule, and budget for each project assigned.

+ 8 plus years consulting, compliance, or industry experience; Knowledge of various State and USEPA air quality regulations.

+ BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related fields.

+ Experience with leak detection and repair, atmospheric emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and pollution control technologies.

+ Experience managing technical air services related projects, either as a consultant or client for these services.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Scope of responsibilities:

* Quality and Environmental: Develop and/or improve comprehensive Quality and Environmental processes; identify and implement improvements, and ensure operational performance properly meets the Quality and Environmental objectives and goals.
* Data management: Identify ways to streamline reporting and maintaining scorecards; continually improve ways to be data-driven within the operations
* ISO: Support the Quality & Environmental Manager with all the quality and environmental related efforts for ISO maintenance and continual improvement. Partner with key functional team members to execute the required project plan(s) that will drive process alignment with the ISO requirements.
* Communication: identify effective ways and /or methods to influence compliance, improvements, and/or innovation

Duties:

* Drive operational excellence throughout the distribution centers by continually inspecting and auditing processes
* Perform root cause analysis and identify preventive actions for all customer-facing issues
* Identify sustainable improvements for systemic issues
* Maintain data for KPI dashboards, perform trend analysis and support continual improvement initiatives
* Establish and streamline processes required for ISO compliance and meeting operational targets
* Coordinate/execute ISO internal audits with all departments and support the preparations for all external audits
* Develop and implement new processes required to support the ISO 14001 (Environmental) requirements

Background:

* Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in a Quality advocate role and prior experience with an ISO certification process; specifically in ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001
* Analytical problem-solving ability, process-oriented and data-driven
* High-level communication, written and verbal skills
* Customer-focused, both internal and external
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to take direction and drive results to closure
* Proficient computer skills, including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and Systems (data mining a plus)
