Position/Project Overview:
Project Solutions Inc. Is seeking a highly skilled Scheduler to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Detroit District, in scheduling and project controls for the St. Mary's River Project. This role will primarily be performed remotely, providing professional scheduling services for up to 25 concurrent construction and maintenance projects managed by the USACE Detroit District. The Scheduler will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules; support project planning and execution; and coordinate closely with USACE Project Delivery Teams (PDTs).The position requires periodic travel (up to five site visits) to the St. Mary's River Project Office in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
This role is contingent upon award of project.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop, maintain, and update detailed Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project schedules to support planning, execution, and control of up to 25 projects.
Build Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and integrate cost and schedule data as required.
Conduct critical path method (CPM) analysis, rolling-wave planning, and resource planning.
Coordinate closely with USACE project managers to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
Prepare and deliver monthly combined schedule status reports, including narrative updates, milestone progress, delays, and change request documentation.
Attend weekly virtual coordination meetings with project managers to gather updates and resolve scheduling issues.
Support preparation of schedule reporting, briefings, metrics, and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with USACE scheduling standards, policies, and documentation requirements.
Perform monthly schedule reviews and updates per USACE Program Execution Guidance.
Attend up to five site visits during the period of performance to receive government-furnished equipment, validate schedules, coordinate with USACE personnel, and support project closeout.
Maintain accurate documentation, including schedule files, progress records, and correspondence.
Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; OR equivalent relevant experience preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project scheduling or project controls preferred.
Expert proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, schedule logic, resource loading, and rolling-wave planning.
Demonstrated experience supporting federal or USACE projects (PROMIS, P2, or similar systems preferred).
Ability to analyze schedule performance, identify variance drivers, and develop corrective actions.
PMI-SP, PSP, or other recognized scheduling certification preferred.
Familiarity with USACE financial systems (PROMIS, CEFMS) or enterprise project management tools preferred.
Experience preparing QCPs, monthly project reports, or government submittals preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in developing schedule narratives and briefings.
Ability to work independently, collaborate virtually, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Willingness and ability to travel to Sault Ste. Marie, MI, for onsite visits (up to five trips).
Valid driver's license.

Purpose
Assist an interdisciplinary research team in the Bipolar Disorder Center / Almeida lab at Dell Medical School, Department of Psychiatry and Behavior Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin with collecting and analyzing psychological and neuroimaging measures for the bipolar and major depressive disorder population.
Responsibilities
Develop, collect, conduct, and analyze research projects including psychological measures using standard interviews (self-report and/or clinician based) and neuroimaging measures as part of a team of faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate assistants.
Assist with data entry and database management.
Assist with IRB submission & management
Review medical records and conduct screenings for study recruitment. Execute data collection procedure and assessment and assist with subject recruitment, including obtaining consent of research subjects.
Help with subject management, scheduling and reimbursement. Provide exceptional and tactful support to research subjects via phone, email, etc.
Assist with manuscripts and publications (authorship will depend on candidate's initiative).

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of research experience in psychiatry, psychology, public health, social work, counseling, or related discipline.

Position/Project Overview:
Project Solutions Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector (Transmission Line) to join a Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), a division of the U.S. Department of Energy, project to support a a multi-year initiative to provide Construction Inspection Services across its four operational regions: Upper Great Plains (UGP), Rocky Mountain (RMR), Sierra Nevada (SNR), and Desert Southwest (DSW). These regions span a 15-state area, including portions of the Midwest, Mountain West, and Western U.S. This project supports the construction, renovation, and maintenance of critical federal power infrastructure, including transmission lines, high-voltage substations, civil works, pre-engineered metal buildings, and other facilities. The work ensures compliance with WAPA's construction standards, OSHA regulations, and other federal safety and quality standards.
This role is contingent upon award of project.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Inspect construction contractor activities to ensure progress, quality, and compliance with contract requirements, WAPA construction standards, and applicable codes (NEC, NESC, OSHA 1910/1926).
Support the Contracting Officer (CO) by providing technical input and oversight throughout construction phases.
Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
Monitor and document contractor progress using WAPA-provided electronic forms for daily reports, safety meetings, labor checks, and special inspections.
Attend and facilitate on-site meetings, including weekly coordination and safety meetings with contractors and WAPA representatives.
Track and report schedule progress by reviewing contractor's baseline and updated schedules; communicate deviations or delays.
Document field issues and coordinate resolution with contractor superintendents and WAPA field engineers when necessary.
Conduct photo documentation of construction activities and mock-ups; submit bi-weekly JPEG images with captioned reports.
Review and verify quantities and completion of work for monthly contractor pay applications; identify and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor compliance with safety requirements including Accident Prevention Plans (APP), Asbestos Hazard Abatement Plans (AHAP), and site-specific protocols.
Issue Special Work Permits and ensure safety and coordination when work is performed in energized substations or sensitive areas.

Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:

Hands-on knowledge of grading, excavation, reinforced concrete, structural steel, welding, HVAC, plumbing, high voltage equipment, grounding and switching, asphalt paving, and building electrical systems.
Surveying experience capable of verifying site grades and elevations.
Strong oral and written communication skills for reporting, coordination, and interacting with contractors, WAPA personnel, and other stakeholders.
Proficient in evaluating detailed cost estimates and contractor proposals, including breakdowns of labor, equipment, materials, overhead, and profit.
