The Celestar Corporation has an IMMEDIATE NEED to identify a Microsoft Project - SharePoint Support Specialist who will be seated in the Southeast DC area for this LIVE opportunity. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: None - However, you must be a US or Naturalized Citizen who can favorably Pass a National Agency Check, Law and Credit (NACLC) Investigation
RESPONSIBILITIES

* Maintains Microsoft SharePoint pages for online libraries.
* Maintains files on Microsoft Project Server.
* Configures and maintains Project Web App Settings, e.g. Personal, Enterprise, Queue and Database Administration, Workflow and Task Management, etc
* Creates, edits, and deletes pages, lists, folders, libraries, documents, and calendars.
* Analyzes existing SharePoint sites to suggest possible enhancements/upgrades and once accepted, design, build and implement approved changes.
* Provides user training on basic functionality and evaluates current and emerging SharePoint technologies and practices.
* Collaborates with IT operations to ensure services, system monitoring, capacity, high availability, business continuation, and disaster recovery.
* Sets up alerts and enforces usage policies.
* Monitors SharePoint trends (e.g. site usage and growth - disk space usage and growth).

REQUIREMENTS

* Two (2) - Four (4) Years of Technical Support experience
* Must have Hands-On experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft SharePoint
* Must be well versed with Microsoft Office Server and Microsoft SharePoint which supports interface from Microsoft Project.
* A demonstrated understanding of the different user types and the how they interact with Microsoft Project Server and the functionality of each, as well as how to modify permissions.
* Demonstrated experience in SharePoint front-end administration and site development (for example, administering lists, views, web parts, etc. with Full Control).
* Proven track record of producing professional, clear documentation throughout a complete project cycle.
* Security+ Certification - Highly Desired
* Must be able to work onsite in DC (SE) Monday - Friday (No Telework).
* Must have or be able to obtain (and maintain) a government clearance.

Tests desktop installations of applications and performs installations to support departmental client/server software applications. Participates in meetings with vendors for projects to implement new or upgrade existing technologies. Exhibits Advanced technical skills. Resolves and documents incidents using Information Services supported tools and applications. Performs troubleshooting steps to investigate root cause analysis. Documents troubleshooting steps and root cause investigation findings. Assists in image development, evaluation, testing and distribution. Identify and document complex incidents across enterprise. Works with vendors to address issues with vendor provided and supported solutions. Keeps customers updated with statuses when resolution is delayed. Documents troubleshooting steps and communication in ticketing system. Participates in go lives to implement or upgrade application solutions. Conducts site assessments with customers to evaluate site readiness for desktop equipment installations. Provides appropriate direction to customers to for networking, power and mounting needs. Coordinates with LITS for network installations and activations to support projects or installs of new technologies. Completes assigned day to day service requests and work orders for installation of desktop equipment and peripherals. Documentation must include all troubleshooting steps, delays in issue resolution and detailed steps for what was done to resolved the issue or request. Represents Information Services at Hospital huddles to report out on current business impacting issues and bring back IT related challenges to the Client Services team. Attends client services leadership huddle in preparation for Hospital report out. Participates in recurring refresh program. Engages LITS for network related issues. Provides production and service request support in a 7 X 24 Tier 1 environment. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ High School Diploma plus A+ Certification required.

+ 2 years of Information Technology experience.

+ 4 years Information Technology experience required in lieu A+ certification.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
  • BS/A degree from an accredited university or equivalent. Related work experience in case management/human services/client/vendor management/child development, or claims, contracts and/or outreach and enrollment may be substituted for college degree.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in two or more of the following Crystal Stairs departments: Contracts, Stage One, CDE, or Claims. Lead or supervisory experience a plus.
  • Requires the exercise of some independent judgment and discretion in analyzing facts and circumstances and in the determination of actions to be taken within the limits of standard practice.
