Construction Department The Construction team is responsible for the entire process flow of delivering the physical data centers from shovel ready state through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, and management along the way. Construction implements and executes upon the work product developed by the Development & Engineering (D&E) team. The team also manages Vantage's build partners to success through technical feedback and review and actively participating in review of schedule and budget. Many times, a role like this at other companies is purely oversight. One thing that distinguishes Vantage is that our construction teams are given the responsibility and authority to directly drive the process. When compared to external resources, our internal team can ensure the key stakeholders are engaged in the decision-making process to align long-term operational sustainability with value engineering and cost metrics to deliver products aligned with corporate goals. This approach empowers each member of the team to drive high- impact decisions and even more impactful results. Position Overview As the Project Controls Analyst for North America, your key function will be to support the efficient delivery of Vantage Data Center Portfolio by the organization of data, implementation of scalable processes and the use of professional tools. In this role, you will support the PCM with reviewing and analyzing of project cost and schedules, and knowledge of, and proficiency with, current technologies and software. Minimal administrative support will also be required. This role will be based remotely in the United States. Essential Job Functions Effectively identify and communicate key project risks related to cost/schedule to internal stakeholders Define and alter departmental scope based on internal customer feedback and identified areas of risk Assist in the development and tracking of project change orders. Prepares detailed cost analysis to identify and explain variances on a weekly/monthly basis. Convert the project's approved estimate into a control budget for usage in cost management Provide cost estimating support for internal efforts on an “as needed” basis Evaluate projections based on earned value management. Proactively identify issues and risks, and work with the team for timely resolutions. Leverage best practices, techniques, and tools for quality control, project planning, execution, project management, ongoing milestone tracking, communication, and key performance metrics. Coordinate monthly cost review sessions with project team. Prepare monthly summary for management team. Travel to field offices when required. Prepare and present project cost and schedule summary reports in weekly, bi-monthly and monthly Project Status Review meetings, utilizing spreadsheets, diagrams, graphs, and reports suitable for presentation to upper management. Support decision making with objective data, working with partner teams to understand the impact of project implementation in a live data center environment. Monthly reporting on our North American program milestones and interdependencies Essential Job Duties Develop dashboards with real-time telemetry at project, site, region and global levels; deliver detailed cost, schedule, risk/upside reports for the project teams and management as needed Contribute to the month-end financial forecasting process Report budget at various stages of development comparing underwriting to budget (SD/ DD/CD) and actuals Ensure risk exposure is accurately extracted from the Risk/Upside Log into other reports Provide project teams with schedule lookahead metrics Run analyses to compare the work in place to the progress billings to report risk to budget or schedule Establish risk management workflow incorporating existing processes and improving upon them Support the evaluation of design and construction and the associated impacts on cost and/or schedule Support proper documentation of risk management from design through construction Partner with teams globally to harvest lessons learned and feed back to program level project controls and construction This position is based remotely in the U.S. Additional Information: Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 Base + Bonus (based on Colorado market data) This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits. This role is responsible for leading a range of financial operations including centralized services, payroll oversight, and team management. The Assistant Controller will report directly to the Corporate Controller and play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, driving efficiency, and supporting resort and departmental teams in financial management and training. The position requires strong technical accounting expertise, experience in consolidating and centralizing certain accounting functions, leadership skills, and an understanding of or willingness to learn about resort operations and systems. Responsibilities Lead corporate payroll management function, including: * Overseeing multi-state payroll processing and ensuring accuracy and compliance * Managing payroll systems, workflows, and local payroll regulations * Partnering with HR on payroll-related policies and compensation structures * Managing payroll tax filings and year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s, etc.) * Identifying opportunities for payroll process improvements and automation * Drive centralization of accounting functions across resort locations, including: * Developing and implementing strategies to centralize payroll and accounts payable operations * Standardizing processes, policies, and systems across all locations * Leading change management efforts to transition decentralized functions to corporate oversight * Evaluating and implementing shared service models to improve efficiency and control * Assist in preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. * Assist in managing cash forecasting and treasury operations. * Maintain and update corporate accounting policies and ensure consistent application across resorts. * Provide training and support to resort accounting teams on systems, processes, and internal controls. * Support resort accounting functions as needed. * Support financial system implementations and process improvements. * Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process and manage PBC requests. * Assist in managing the monthly financial close, including variance analysis. * Supervise a team of three corporate accountants and support their professional development. * Ensure compliance with internal control standards and identify areas for improvement and enhancement. * Assist the Corporate Controller with special projects and strategic initiatives as needed. Qualifications Necessary Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with progressive responsibility. * Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls. * Experience with corporate payroll management, including multi-state and multi-location payroll operations and compliance. * Demonstrated experience in centralizing accounting functions or implementing shared services models. * Experience with treasury management and payroll oversight. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NAV, NetSuite). * Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. * Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. * American Payroll Association certification such as Certified Payroll Professional and Certified Payroll Manager is a plus * Certified Payments Professional designation is a plus * Hospitality or resort industry experience is a plus * Remote work is acceptable but must have flexibility and a willingness to travel to resort locations as needed. *
