    Under the direction and supervision of Sterile Processing Supervisor and/or the Department Manager, the Associate Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the following: assemble clean instruments into specialized sets, package or wrap instruments for sterilization, maintains an inventory of sterile supplies on core carts. We are looking for Dental Sterilization Technicians to join our clinics! Our Dental Sterilization Technicians are responsible for the sterilization of dental instruments and trays. They conduct and organize documentation of sterility assurance testing to include biological indicators and Bowie Dicks tests. Performs daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of all autoclaves. They also perform environmental maintenance duties and assist in maintaining inventory levels in sterile processing, the clinical area and in equipment storage. Plus, other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school Diploma plus Washington State Dental Assistant License or equivalent combination of education and experience. Disassemble, clean, disinfect and sterilize reusable instruments and medical devices per MIFU's Reassemble, inspect and test all multi-part devices assuring they are complete and will function safely and as expected. Assemble, package, process and store medical supplies, instruments and equipment. Distribute reprocessed products. Operate department equipment safely. Use and check performance indicators to assure proper function and initiate corrective action if malfunction is identified. Perform and document sterilizer cycles, assuring parameters for sterilization are met. Challenge sterilizer performance with chemical and biological indicators.
