Role: ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) Architect - SAM Pro
Job Description: The ServiceNow ESM architect for SAM pro is responsible for defining the technical, functional, and architectural blueprint for implementing SAM pro within the enterprise ServiceNow environment. This role will ensure that the SAM pro solution is aligned to ESM, ITAM, CMDB, and ITSM strategies, while maintaining scalability, performance, governance and integration standards across the ServiceNow platform.
Key responsibilities:
Define end-to-end SAM Pro architecture within the context of an organization with a broader ESM ecosystem.
Develop target architecture for SAM pro including foundation data, normalization, reconciliation, content library interface, SW models, entitlements, SW discovery maps, products etc.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards including data governance, frameworks, and security controls.
Define data models and attributes for SW Models, license metrics, contracts, and relationships among them.
Architect integration solutions between SAM pro and external systems such as SCCM, JAMF, Flexera, Workday and contract repositories.
Guide to business analysts, SAM specialists, developers, and project managers on design decisions and compliance.
Ensure SAM Pro is aligned to CMDB classes, discovery patterns and normalization rules.
Validate SW discovered data supports SAM reconciliation.
Validate test cases, data validation logics, and compliance calculation.
Review operational readiness, operating model and knowledge transfer.
Helps define governance standards and KPIs for ongoing SAM operations.
Provide leadership to SAM evolution and scalability

8+ years of ServiceNow platform experience with strong exposure to ITSM, SAM Pro, CMDB, Discovery and software catalog.
Deep understanding of SW licensing models (SaaS and On-Prem). For EUC and DC software including opensource.
