Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Accountant. Serve as primary liaison between the Finance Department and departments managing capital projects (e.g., Public Works, Utilities, Engineering, etc.).

What You'll Be Doing
As a Dispatcher, your responsibilities will include:
* Managing the daily dispatch of facility drivers for all pick-ups, returns, and vendor deliveries
* Staffing the logistics/dispatch window, greeting drivers, vendors, and customers
* Maintaining ongoing communication with drivers and tracking movements throughout the day
* Coordinating with external carriers to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries
* Obtaining and submitting driver paperwork, bills of lading, and vendor documents accurately into internal systems
* Assisting with scheduling mulch pick-ups and CHEP pallet returns
* Supporting shipping and receiving with inventory tracking and documentation as needed
* Assisting facility leadership in managing dispatch and order calendars
* Escalating issues or delays to the Transportation Manager as appropriate
* Building strong, collaborative partnerships with PLA staff, vendors, drivers, and customers
* Performing other duties as assigned to support the transportation and logistics team
What We're Looking For
* 2+ years of experience as a dispatcher, logistics coordinator, or related role
* Familiarity with DOT regulations is preferred
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced logistics environment
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
* Any combination of education and experience will be considered
Physical Requirements
* Prolonged sitting and computer work
* Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
* Ability to walk into warehouse and outdoor dock areas as needed
* Must wear PPE when entering production areas
Work Environment
* Majority of duties performed in a climate-controlled office
* Occasional exposure to warehouse environments where PPE is required
* Interaction with drivers, vendors, and facility operations staff
* Warehouse areas may include noise, forklift traffic, and variable temperatures
