What we're looking for:* Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted on the checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter and debris are removed from all areas of the facility. Sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the garage and stairwells, as well as clean surface area rails, etc. on all levels, the booth, the office, and rest rooms. Empty all trashcans in the garage, the booth, and the office. Responsible for safety and security of company equipment. If applicable, paint any and all areas of the facility as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all painted surfaces such as poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, gates, etc. are properly maintained and look neat and clean. Perform tasks such as replace light bulbs as needed or apply oil absorbent to oil spills. Walk garage daily to note and correct any maintenance problems. Check conditions on the ticket splitters, gates, ticket supply, and other equipment for proper functioning and general appearance. Pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, vehicles, etc. Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests to re-stock supplies as needed. Operate electrical tools to clean, repair or construct items, as applicable. Shovel, plow, or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager, as applicable. Resolve customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor. Report any known accidents or violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the local manager in a timely manner. What's in it for you? Patient and Family Centered Care Convey respect for values, preferences, and expressed needs of the patient and family. Communicate and collaborate effectively with patients, families to promote patient health and well-being. Culture Consider the individual needs of each person with whom they interact. Interact with sensitivity in the delivery of care/services of diverse populations as needed. Report to work in proper uniform as per departmental standards and/or hospital policy. All Clinical Patient Support team members will maintain a professional, courteous attitude toward patient, co-workers and all departments daily. Safety Awareness Foster a "Culture of Safety" through personal ownership and commitment to a safe environment. Demonstrate proper body mechanics in all functions. Understand individual role/responsibilities in the event of a hospital code. (e.g., Code Green, Code Red) Perform proper handwashing per CDC guidelines.
