The HMR CDL Bus Driver safely transports guests and staff from the North Base to the South Base and back again following all the rules of law as required by CA DMV, USDOT, FMCSA and CHP. This also includes the following duties

Keeps daily documentation and records in accordance to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Department of Transportation and California Highway Patrol requirements.
Communicates effectively with all departments including the Director of Base Operations via phone, text, email and verbally.

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior ski resort transportation experience desirable.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on 4 diesel-powered tractors and 20 refrigerated trailers to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in tractors and reefer units, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration systems on trailers, ensuring proper temperature control for perishable goods.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and lubrication of moving parts.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues.

What to expect?
CDL Drivers make safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations.
On a daily basis our drivers:
Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.
Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.
Collect payments and accurately document delivery.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What to expect?
CDL Drivers make safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations.
On a daily basis our drivers:
Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.
Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.
Collect payments and accurately document delivery.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
To drive for POOLCORP you need:
To be at least 21 years old.
A valid Class A or B commercial driver's license, preferably with HAZMAT endorsement but not required.
A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities
Maintain safety standards at all times while transporting employees to their designated areas.
Ensure the vehicle meets all safety requirements and update the maintenance schedule.
Follow all traffic signs/laws and maintain posted speed limits.
Ensure all passengers are authorized to board the Shuttle.
Maintain a set schedule to ensure delays are at a minimum.
Ensure each passenger has a positive experience and that any issues are resolved or escalated to a member of authority promptly.
Extend the Exceptional Care philosophy at all times.
Inform and relay all necessary information, concisely and professionally, to Managers and passengers, whether in person or via Shuttle radio.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Drives company vehicles to deliver lumber, building materials, hardware, and other building and maintenance supplies to customers' homes, construction sites, or places of business.
Collects payment from customers on COD orders and records customer information according to Standard Operating Procedures.
Verifies order details and obtains customer signature on store copy of delivery ticket.
Follows directions or uses navigation tools to locate delivery addresses or locations efficiently.
Records all pertinent delivery information as needed for accurate tracking.
Collects and organizes required paperwork for delivery and transfer activity.
Treats all customers with courtesy and respect. Acts as a customer service liaison between the site customer and store personnel, including listening to and assisting in resolving customer complaints.
Informs store management or personnel of any customer complaints or requests in a timely manner.
Collects or picks up empty containers, rejected or unsold merchandise from delivery sites as directed.
Loads vehicle safely and accurately.
Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles.
Performs routine safety checks on vehicles according to company guidelines.
Assists in the yard and warehouse with stocking, loading, and organizing materials.

What to expect?
CDL Drivers make safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations.
On a daily basis our drivers:
Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.
Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.
Collect payments and accurately document delivery.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
To drive for POOLCORP you need:
To be at least 21 years old.
A valid commercial driver's license, preferably with HAZMAT endorsement.
