  • Cement Engineer

    * Monitor cement blend performance * Analyze product failure data and laboratory test results to troubleshoot issues with cement blends * Design and direct testing of cement blend processing procedures * Design quality assurance tests for testing raw materials and cement blends * Evaluate technical specifications and costs relating to product or process design objectives * Design appropriate methods for joining materials used in cement blending processes * Review new product plans and make recommendations for material selection based on customer objectives * Plan and implement laboratory operations to develop procedures that meet cost, product specification, and performance standards * Collaborate with Cement Laboratory and leadership to plan and evaluate new projects when necessary * Communicate daily with Cement Laboratory team to assign blends for production * Communicate regularly with Cement Coordinators and customers for information concerning upcoming jobs and to keep current on necessary cement blends * Maintain communication with vendors for pricing information * Work closely with the Cement Sales team to generate new RFQs * Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Bachelors degree in Engineering required (Chemical Engineering preferred) * Previous cement or chemical engineering experience preferred * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and personnel at all levels of the organization * Highly collaborative, able to successfully work with a team to accomplish a common goal * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to gather, interpret, and utilize relevant data * Personable, professional, and customer service oriented * Must be available to take calls outside of normal working hours * Must be flexible and able to work remotely when necessary * Proficient working in Microsoft Office 365 applications, can quickly learn internal software necessary to perform required duties.

  • Heavy Equipment Operator III

    Operates light to heavy vehicles and equipment in the installation, maintenance and repair functions associated with the assigned functional area. Assist with labor intensive, complex construction, maintenance and repair work; works independently or as part of a work crew in installation, maintenance and repair activities in the management and care of infrastructure and properties. Depending on area of assignment, operates equipment that includes, but is not necessarily limited to, backhoes, Motorgrader, compactors, trenching machines, potholing machines, bulldozers, water trucks, front-end loaders, excavators, scrapers, brush-clearing equipment, and hand tools. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Operates equipment in accordance with company procedure. Learns and follows safety regulations. Performs daily safety and maintenance checks. Participates in routine maintenance of equipment. Must be able to respond to emergency and after-hour calls on nights, weekends and holidays. Identifies potential hazards during installation, maintenance and repair projects; determines appropriate equipment operating procedures accordingly. Performs in the safe and proper operation of tools, vehicles and equipment; adheres to prescribed safety standards and regulatory requirements. Participates in work-site safety set-up, e.g., setting barricades and cones, prepping for excavation, assisting with utility locates, prepping for confined space entry in accordance with SOP safety standards. May perform duties of Equipment Operator I, II or Roustabout. Work directly with Supervisor to assist with field crews or subcontractors and perform specialty programs. Assumes Foreman responsibilities in his/her absence. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid driver's license. Other Skills and Abilities Ability to work and communicate well with others. Regular attendance is essential. Must arrive at work on time, prepared to perform assigned duties and work assigned schedule. Ability to work well with others. Other Qualifications General knowledge of the oil and gas industry. Good mechanical aptitude. Motor vehicle record (MVP) reflecting no convictions for recurring or serious violations or accidents.     Provides technical support on a regional or system basis relating to corrosion control and pipeline integrity. Monitors cathodic protection and internal corrosion control facilities. Conducts internal and external specialized corrosion tests on steel structures. Supports planning and management of Cathodic Protection (CP) Program and oversees Cathodic Protection Projects to include design and installation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Install, operates and maintains cathodic protection facilities, power lines, galvanic anodes, and corrosion control facilities. Monitors the conditions of the pipeline through pipe-to-soil potentials, visual inspection, examination of coupons, data from in-line tools, etc. Monitors electrical isolation and identifies points of electrical shorts. Conducts various tests, measurements, and surveys to ensure efficient operation of cathodic protection facilities. Performs coating evaluations for atmospheric corrosion control. Inspects the work activities of third-party vendors Mentors fellow team members when the opportunity arises. Analyzes material and structure layout to identify the most appropriate design of CP systems. Supervises impressed and galvanic CP system installations. Prepares specifications for materials and execution of projects. Provides cost estimation for CP Systems. Analyzes raw field data for erroneous information and potential trouble spots. Assists and trains entry-level technicians. Supports the Pipeline Integrity Program.
