In this role you'll join the proposals team at L3Harris Telemetry & RF Division. Together with BD, you will have a crucial role in shaping the future business for our Space and Intel product lines. This role encompasses both the pricing and volume preparation aspects of proposals where you'll take ownership of assigned RFPs from receipt to submittal. Our team ranges from 1 year to 20 years of experience in DOD proposal activities and we are looking forward to finding our next great Proposal Manager. Due to volume of work this additional position in the group is being created.
Essential Functions:

• Proposal Manager is responsible for responding to all assigned RFPs. This may include RFPs in both our Space and Intel product lines. • Be able to understand, prepare, and submit a TINA certified proposals. • This role includes all pricing activities and reviews, volume creation, proposal leadership and follow through, approval authorizations, and formal submittal to the customer • Participate in proposal audits as assigned • Perform analysis on proposal vs actual costs incurred to ensure pricing continues to reflect reality • Participate in standard product pricing updates as assigned • Knowledgable on DFARs requirements for proposals • Continual process improvement • Mentor/train junior team members as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of Proposal experience; Or, Graduate Degree and 4+ years of experience • Bachelor's Degree in a business related field or engineering; Other degrees may be considered • Proficient with Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills are required • Experience with defense industry and/or multiple contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FPIF, FFP, T&M, OTA etc.) either in execution or in the proposal phase • Ability to multi-task and work ad-hoc requests on short notice • Must be a U.S. Person

Preferred Additional Skills:

• ProPricer experience • BOE creation experience • Prior Engineering, Finance or BD experience a plus
