JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to assist with the processing of service project Request for Quotes (RFQs), purchase orders (POs), and PO acknowledgements. This position is also responsible for preparing standard proposals and maintenance of the proposal-related databases, templates, and documents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform general administrative tasks, including meeting scheduling, printing and reproduction of documentation, etc.
Provide administrative services in support of sales proposal preparation.
Interface with other administrative and technical areas of the organization to obtain up-to-date proposal support documentation and information.
Assemble and maintain proposal-related libraries and databases, including contract terms and conditions, customer references, active and completed proposals, pricing for standard services, document templates, etc.
Prepare standard proposals using templates and boilerplate text.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1 - 4 years experience working in a large, complex, international organization is preferred
Adaptability and versatility are essential
Must be a team-player with solid interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills are required
Expert attention to detail is required

Responsibilities:
60% Managing Editor
Managing editor responsibilities will include overseeing the design, production, printing, promotion, revenue generation, and financial management for Either/Or. The Managing Editor will work closely with the journal's Editors-in-Chief as well as direct student interns. The Managing Editor will organize the annual Either/Or Creative Writing Festival for high school students, and other public literary events related to the journal.
EDITORIAL DUTIES
* Oversee all editorial work and production schedules
* Approve the selection of all stories, essays, poems, and art to appear in Either/Or
* Manage editorial workflow through Submittable, including correspondence with writers about edits, copy-edits, and page proofs
* In conjunction with the magazine editors-in-chief, help top-edit all stories, essays, and poems to appear in the magazine
* Copy-edit all galleys in advance of production
* Finalize layout of magazine in InDesign
* In conjunction with editors-in-chief, write a "Letter from the Editors" for each issue, introducing the contents of that year's edition
* Supervise student interns
PRODUCTION DUTIES
* Coordinate with printer and vendor suppliers
* Maintain issue inventory and shipping procedures
* Maintain magazine website, updating content to maximize reader engagement
* Oversee the fulfillment of contracts and payment for any contributors to the magazine
* Coordinate with UWW Foundation and the College of Letters & Sciences to fulfill all purchase orders and requests
PROMOTIONAL DUTIES

Job Details
1) Digitally records court proceedings either from WCS office or in person when needed. 2) Monitors court proceedings on a multi-channel digital audio recording system (DAR) to ensure each proceeding is accurately captured (confidence monitoring). 3) Logs notes in specialized software. 4) Plays back recorded testimony during hearings upon request. 5) Prepares WCS formatted transcripts upon request using one of the following approved methods: typing into word processing software; steno machine with computer-assisted translation software. 6) Converts prepared transcripts to approved format and e-files into WCS case management system, prints and mails copies upon request.
Qualifications
Required: 1) Demonstrated skill in proofreading, grammar, spelling, composition, and punctuation. 2) Demonstrated keyboarding at 50 wpm minimum. 3) Courses and/or experience in general administration and recordkeeping (paralegal, legal secretary, etc.). 4) Ability to accurately perform transcription of recorded proceedings to a verbatim written record. 5) Ability to maintain professional demeanor and to establish effective working relationships with the assigned judge(s), court clerks and other court personnel, attorneys, and the general public. 6) Ability to consistently maintain a professional demeanor and maintain composure while being exposed to the information that may be presented in criminal, civil, juvenile, or other court proceedings.
Preferred: 1) Training and/or experience in legal terminology and procedures. 2) Certification from the American Association of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers (AAERT) as a Certified Electronic Reporter and/or as a Certified Electronic Transcriber. 3) Work experience as a digital or stenographic court reporter, or as a transcriptionist. 4) Experience using For the Record (FTR) software.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Employment will require a criminal background check. Must meet the minimum standards for driving a State vehicle. The Wisconsin Court System does not sponsor work visas. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.
