Provide on-site monitoring to New York City Administration for Children Services (ACS) and Voluntary Child Care agencies located in the NYC region to address casework quality and quantitative standards in addition to review and analyses of Family Assessment and Service
Plans quality and timeliness. Review data collection and analysis in Data Warehouse to assess the impact of policies and procedures and provide for greater adherence to the principles of the federal standard. Identify barriers to achieving the required standards for Districts and Agencies. Review data reports from Datawarehouse to focus misidentifying documentation, also known as Multiple person identifiers (MPIDS) which may impact casework contact. The Opportunity
We're seeking an Operations & Process Analyst to play a critical role in scaling operations and unlocking an extensive customer pipeline. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on building systems from scratch, solving complex problems creatively, and driving operational excellence.

What You'll Do
Analyze & Optimize: Identify inefficiencies in existing operational processes and develop solutions for improvement

Bloomberg runs on data, and data drives the market. Our Consumer Media Insights team is an integral part of driving our business through data-backed decision making for Bloomberg Media. Individuals on the team lead strategic analytics projects, from development and analysis to presentation, working alongside key decision makers across the Media business.
The Media Insights team is looking for a senior-level analyst with deep experience in subscription and product analytics, who can bring both strategic thinking and hands-on technical skills. You will partner closely with leaders across Subscriptions, Product, Marketing, Editorial, and support additional business units including commercial, engineering, research, and strategy/operations. This highly visible, cross-functional role will require technical expertise in SQL and Python, strong analytical storytelling, and the ability to influence product and business strategy.
This role will also optimize the use of sophisticated tools like machine learning and predictive analytics, helping us stay competitive by leveraging the latest analytical techniques. Think of this role as part strategist, part executioner, part business insights partner, and part data architect.
WE'LL TRUST YOU TO:
Perform advanced analysis on subscriber acquisition, retention, and engagement, as well as content and competitor performance.
Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to provide high-quality data requirements for complex SQL or Python pipelines, ensuring a trusted source of truth for key Bloomberg metrics.
Partner with product, marketing, data engineering, and finance teams to define KPIs and enable performance reporting on those metrics.
Support and unblock junior-level team members with technical and analytical guidance.
Monitor industry standards, market shifts, and emerging subscription trends to inform and drive analytical capability.
Identify new opportunities for using data across Bloomberg's subscription and product ecosystem.
Clearly, consistently, and broadly communicate insights that inform subscription strategy, product vision, goals, and impact to leadership and across the organization.
YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:
Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in a research-related field (computer science strongly preferred, statistics, mathematics, or similar).
5+ years of hands-on experience in analytics or related fields, with a focus on subscription or digital product analytics.
Proven technical expertise with SQL and Python (experience writing complex queries and building scalable analysis pipelines).
Familiarity with big data platforms and data management tools (BigQuery, Google Analytics, etc.).
Strong data visualization skills (Mode, Looker, Tableau etc.).
Experience with B2C subscription products, acquisition, retention, and payments.
Strong background in statistics and advanced analytics, including predictive modeling.
Ability to break down complex problems into structured, step-by-step solutions.
Highly effective leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
