Strong understanding of solid mechanics, and materials failure mechanism. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in structural analysis, buckling analysis, thermal analysis, and seismic analysis. Working experience with equipment design and analysis codes and standards such as AISC, and ASME BPVC and Piping Code. Experienced with conceptual design and sizing equipment and structural components through basic calculation and utilizing Mathcad. Strong communication skills and collaborative teamwork is highly desired.
