Job Qualifications:

Experience in requirements capture and management with tools such as DOORS, Jama, Caliber, or Polarion.
Experience in the aviation industry.
Experience adhering to defined system development processes.
Mastery of Aerospace cybersecurity standards such as DO-326, DO-355, and DO-356.
Knowledge of aircraft electrical power systems.
Ability to author technical documents, including specifications and plans, and process documents.
Competence in presenting technical information to customers and management.

Job Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a talented Test Technician/Electrical Engineer to join their team and support the development and testing of cutting-edge platforms.
This role will involve a wide range of responsibilities, including layout and schematic capture, board/platform buildup and bringup, rework and soldering, and modifications and firmware updates.
Board/Platform Buildup and Bringup: Assemble and test prototype boards and platforms, ensuring they meet design specifications and functionality.
Rework and Soldering: Perform precise rework and soldering tasks on PCBs to correct errors or make modifications, enabling the prototype
Layout and Schematic Capture: Design and create electrical schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools.
Modifications and Firmware Updates: Implement necessary changes to hardware and firmware to improve performance or address issues.
Linux OS/Command-Line Experience (preferred): Demonstrate proficiency in using Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
Job Qualifications:
No Bachelor's degree required.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
Strong board/platform buildup and bring-up experience
Proficiency in soldering and rework techniques and enabling prototypes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Bonus if you have PCB layout and schematic capture, board-level testing/probing, 3D CAD/modeling, test fixture development, and rapid prototyping skills. Altium preferred.
Experience writing simple scripts and/or familiarity with basic programming (Python, C, etc.).
Experience with microcontrollers, electronics, and embedded computing principles
Knowledge and experience with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
Experience with firmware development and debugging.
Familiarity with test equipment and measurement techniques.
