Matt Condie serves as the Chief of Operations at ProTransport-1 Ambulance. Matt started his EMS journey in 2011 as an EMT out of the Oakland station and eventually worked his way up to Operations Manager for both Alameda County and San Francisco County. In 2017 Matt took on the role of Director of Operations for PT1’s sister company PRN Ambulance. In 2019 Matt moved from the Director of Operations role to the Director of Performance Management while still working at PRN, but soon moved to work as a Business Analyst for Covalent Heath. In his current role, Matt is responsible for all operations throughout PT1 while overseeing the Training and CCT Department.

Cons of working at ProTransport-1

The cons of working for PF1 are the way management treats there employees. Many times, the manager and supervisor are condescending, passive aggressive, and their behavior is very unprofessional. That being said, unless there is an incident, you don’t have to deal with them often.

What do you like best about ProTransport-1's CEO and the leadership team?

I never met the CEO. The leadership is bad. There are some complaints about the supervisor and a lot of complaints about the manager.

How would you improve ProTransport-1's culture?

I would improve PT1 by hiring a new manager.

How did you prepare for the ProTransport-1 interview?

I prepared for an interview by reviewing EMT skills.

How does your compensation at ProTransport-1 compare to the industry average?

A year ago, the compensation at PT1 was the best in the area. That is no longer the case.
