* Must be available for Nights* Basic Functions: Ensure operations are running smoothly through various tasks. Responsibilities: 1. Be an active role model for all field employees at all times. 2. Ensure field crews are adhering to LEMSA and NORCAL Ambulance policies, practices and procedures and issue mentoring, education or discipline when appropriate. 3. Perform field assessments of patients as needed to ensure the safety of our crews and patients during transport. 4. Provide lift assists and ride along on priority calls to ensure the safety of our crews and patients during transport. 5. Troubleshoot equipment and vehicle issues in the field. 6. Troubleshoot transport issues with hospital staff when appropriate. 7. Respond to vehicle accidents and/or Incidents to assist and/or coordinate resources when appropriate. 8. Respond to patient incidents to assist and/or coordinate resources when appropriate. 9. Perform driver training, education and driver remediation's. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Summary Paramedics provide emergent and non-emergent medical care to patients being transported by PT-1 Ambulance. Paramedics for PT-1 travel to partner facilities, patient homes, and/or events requiring services. In partnership with an EMT or other qualified clinicians, PT-1 Paramedics provide quality care to the treatment level required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Respond to BLS, ALS, and CCT emergent and non-emergent transports and scene calls Provide high quality, routine and emergent basic and advanced life support, in accordance with CA Title 22, local scope of practice and PT-1 policy Minimum Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program Must be able to communicate and understand English, verbally and written Two (2) or more years of driving experience Must possess or receive, and maintain, current certification/licensure in the following: Current and valid California driver's license EMT-P certification CPR through the American Heart Association (instructor-based with AED) PALS (American Heart Association) PHTLS (American Heart Association) - required for SF ACLS (American Heart Association) California Ambulance Driver Certificate (DL 61) DL51 (Medical Examiners Certificate) Must be current in local, state and federally mandated training Must maintain current industry standards through continuing education Must have completed all mandatory training including mandatory testing FEMA certifications, as required Other state or county certifications, as required About PT-1 Ambulance Some of our benefit package includes: Competitive starting hourly pay Flexible schedules (full-time and part-time available!)
