Performs PM procedures on multiple types of general and specialized clinical equipment. Performs PM procedures using manufacturer's recommendations, standards or code requirements, as well as industry acceptable processes as guidelines. Performs services on specialized equipment in one or more of the following categories: anesthesia machines, sterilizers, ventilators, ultrasound, laser, laboratory analyzers, etc. Performs corrective maintenance procedures including diagnosing problems using thermodynamic, electronic/electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or other sciences and documents results of activities performed to comply with all regulatory and standard requirements. Notifies equipment users and Clinical Engineering Management of repair status and delays as necessary.
