The Virtual Clinical Informatics - Epic Support Team supports all Providence clinicians and caregivers in their utilization of Epic, this support is provided remotely 24/7. Given the nature of 24/7 support it is crucial that candidates for this role be available to work a variety of days and start times, including at least one weekend day per week. The Clinical Informatics Specialist (CIS) serves as a professional role model in promoting the understanding, integration, and application of information technology in healthcare settings. The CIS acts as a liaison between clinical care and information technology, supporting all care givers throughout the care continuum in the implementation, learning, use, adoption and optimization of clinical technologies.
Providence supports 100% virtual work for reside within a daily commutable distance (up to 65 miles) of one of the office locations listed below:

Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree Clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or related field -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience
+ 2 or more years of experience in a position that has the same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information system within a healthcare setting
+ Experience with the Epic EHR platform
+ Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning

The Role The Corporate Counsel position is responsible, under the guidance of Department of Legal Affairs (DLA) Leadership, for providing valued, strategic, and practical legal advice and support for Providence St. Joseph Health ("Providence") in a wide range of complex mergers and acquisitions, and healthcare transactions, including joint ventures, affiliations, partnerships, divestitures, and other business arrangements, and for specific projects as assigned.
The Corporate Counsel provides legal advice, and strategic business consultation, including providing opinions and guidance to executive management teams and other internal business partners.
Key Position Responsibilities:
+ Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents and contracts, with an emphasis on complex agreements including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, financing and credit, and internal reorganizations, and related documents such as confidentiality, non-disclosure, and equity purchase agreements.
+ Draft, review and negotiate legal documents, including but not limited to governing documents (e.g., articles, bylaws, etc.) and agreements in compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and policies, and in accordance with relevant legal relationships.
+ Provide counsel related to regulatory compliance.
+ Identify, assess and manage legal and business risks associated with contracts and transactions.
+ Ensure all transactions comply with applicable healthcare laws and regulations, including the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and fraud and abuse laws.
+ Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and compliance, to structure and execute transactions that align with business objectives.
+ Support lead transactional attorneys and internal business teams in various legal and corporate projects.
+ Assist with and conduct legal due diligence in connection with corporate transactions.
+ Collaborate within DLA to streamline the delivery of legal services; provide consistent, effective legal advice; and manage legal resources.
+ Provide valued, strategic, timely and effective leadership to the internal stakeholders focusing on responding to business partner needs; and providing practical solutions to complex legal issues.
+ Function independently with respect to highly complex contracts and transactions.
+ Assumes responsibility for administrative functions within DLA, as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
+ Active admission and license to practice law in either California or Washington.
+ At least 8 years of relevant experience (some law firm experience is a plus) with a focus on transaction, commercial contracting, and healthcare-related matters preferred.
+ Strong proficiency in drafting and negotiating agreements related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and internal reorganizations.
+ Experience with entity formation, corporate finance, health care organizations, for-profit as well as non-profit transactions preferred.
+ Strong drafting, negotiation and analytic skills.
+ Ability to recognize and weigh business and legal risks, think strategically and advance practical solutions.
+ Ability to provide sound and practical advice on legal and business matters in a complex, fast-paced environment to a broad range of business teams.
+ Superior drafting skills, especially the ability to draft contract language that is clear, concise, and easily understood, creating templates and processes to improve efficiency of the contract review process.
+ Superior communication skills in both written and verbal presentation, including all aspects of legal writing technique and procedure, and the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-lawyers.
+ Ability to function effectively and complete projects in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff within DLA and Providence.

The practice of Respiratory Care under the direct supervision of a medical director, and department director; performs, management, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities which affect the pulmonary system and associated aspects of cardiopulmonary and other systems function within the scope of practice of Respiratory Care Practice Act 1996. The Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment of initiative to apply prescribed treatments and testing in a safe, professional manner. The Respiratory Therapist is a certified or registered therapist who is accountable and responsible for the delivery of direct respiratory care to all age ranges of patients from neonates to adults and through the assignment and direction of the Patient Care Leader, utilizing a collaborative care patient management process, meeting established standards of respiratory care and integrating other health care team members.

+ Graduate of a two (2) year Respiratory Program
+ Coursework/Training: New NICU therapists:
+ Must complete a formal neonatal respiratory course at a JRCTE approved one or two year college program, with didactic and clinical coursework. or complete the didactic portion of the above course and complete a minimum of four weeks of precepted neonatal clinical experience in a hospital-based course at a facility with a Community or Regional NICU.
+ Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License
+ Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
+ Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
+ Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
+ 1 year Acute care setting to include critical care.
