This role plays a critical part in material flow, inventory accuracy, and coordination between yard operations, processing lines, and purchasing to ensure efficient production and scheduling.
Day Shift
$20-$24/hour
Position Responsibilities
Receive and unload all inbound structural steel shapes delivered via railcars or flatbed trailers
Pull structural steel shapes according to Tekla EPM pull-lists or directions provided by the Purchasing department
Transport pulled material to the appropriate processing lines in a timely manner
Maintain accurate job and grade markings on all materials
Maintain close communication with sawyers regarding material availability and priorities
Review yard activities and resolve material conflicts in coordination with the Material Processing Supervisor, Purchasing, and Director of Operations
Maintain accurate physical inventory of yard materials
Process and maintain paperwork for inbound steel, cut lists, and inventory transfers
Organize yard materials by type, grade, and project to ensure efficiency and safety
Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times
Position Qualifications & Abilities Required
Ability to safely operate moving equipment and overhead cranes
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Willingness and ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities

JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking CONTRACT mobile phlebotomists in your area to collect samples in patient homes or workplaces via nasal swab or venipuncture. This position includes drawing samples for blood-based tests that leverage genomics and proteomics to uncover individualized insights about tumor biology. Testing for COVID-19 diagnosis will be for persons without symptoms or those who have already recovered from the disease. Virtual training will be provided for all sample types and kits.
NOTE: This is a contract position, and payment will be remitted within 30 days of invoice.
EQUIPMENT:
All kits and draw supplies (needles, tourniquet, tubes etc.) provided.
Must have reliable transportation, as samples are collected at the patient's home or place of work.
Must provide own gloves, sharps container, and have access to appropriate disposal service.
Must have access to smart phone, computer/laptop, and printer to receive orders and print documents.
Adequate process for receipt and destruction of PHI as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

The new Center for Behavioral Health and Learning at UW Medical Center - Northwest campus opened in 2024. Located in North Seattle, the new facility features 75 long-term civil commitment adult psychiatry beds, 25 geriatric psychiatry beds, 50 medical/surgical beds focused on patients with psychiatric comorbidities, and a state-of-the-art neuromodulation program. It also houses an interdisciplinary training and workforce development program focused on preparing and supporting the next generation of behavioral health providers for Washington State. The six-story building is a beautiful place to work with lots of windows, natural lighting and open-concept spaces and offers amenities including a new kitchen and dining area for patients, staff and visitors.
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Evaluate patients who are detained for involuntary behavioral health treatment at UW Medical Center and are scheduled for King County ITA Court
+ Complete clinical and legal petitions/documentation in the required timelines
+ Represent UW Medical Center at King County ITA Court, including testifying as an expert witness in ITA court hearings and also serving as proxy witness
+ Act as a resource for questions regarding the ITA process and involuntary behavioral health treatment

General Description of Work
Whatcom Community College invites applications for a part-time, adjunct instructor to teach nursing starting winter quarter 2026. Responsibilities
The Nursing Program is committed to providing high quality, evidenced-based nursing education to meet the diverse and changing healthcare needs of the population and to promoting the development of qualified students prepared for the professional role of Registered Nurse at the entry level. The instructor works collaboratively with the Nursing Instructional Teams and the Lab/Simulation technologist to support faculty and students in a variety of settings. The position may include classroom teaching, skills lab and clinical instruction, and simulation activities. Clinical instruction may include day or evening shift work at local health care facilities.
The successful candidate is expected to:
* Teach required courses incorporating evidence-based practice that prepare students for the nursing workforce.
* Collaborate with college faculty and administrators in contributing to the future vision and scope of the nursing program at the college.
* Remain current in the field and adapt courses to meet changing nursing job skills and qualification requirements.
* Develop and maintain contacts and knowledge of companies and organizations in the community.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and accredited nursing education program and ability to receive a waiver from the Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission with minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience.
* Current unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Washington or the ability to obtain license upon hire.
* Current acute care clinical experience to support student learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and accredited nursing education program OR Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and accredited nursing education program with a Master's degree in a Health or Education related field from an accredited institution OR Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and accredited nursing education program and ability to receive a waiver from the Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission with minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience.
* Experience teaching nursing in a higher education setting using a student-centered approach to teaching and learning.
* Experience with design, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based learning activities in an educational or clinical setting.
* Experience with team-centered work groups.
* Experience in curriculum development and assessing learning outcomes.
* The ability to take action to learn and grow.
* The ability to take action to meet the needs of other.
Salary
Salary:
* $12,975.00-$21,213.00 to teach Nursing 172, Clinical and Lab, winter quarter (salary range is based on the number of lab hours).
Benefits:
* Accrues a percentage of 7 hours (equal to the percentage of workload) per month of sick leave (ex. 50% quarterly employment contract x 7 hrs for full-time = 3.5 hrs per month for that quarter.)

* Winter quarter 2026-as soon as can be arranged with the successful candidate.
