    About the Role Fluidstack is seeking a Senior Staff Network Engineer to lead our Network Deployment & Integration pillar. This role acts as the team lead, you'll be hands‑on building our first AI datacenter fabrics while establishing the deployment playbook that scales to GW deployments across multiple regions. This role demands equal parts technical depth and operational leadership. You'll time in the field executing deployments while building the systems, processes, and team that enable repeatable, factory‑line pod deployments. Success means handing over production‑ready fabrics to operations on schedule while building a deployment organization that can run 3-4 parallel datacenter builds. You'll develop a team of deployment engineers, establish handover criteria with cross‑functional partners (DC Ops, ICT, Validation). Focus Deployment Execution: Own hands‑on deployment of datacenter networks - front‑end fabric, back‑end fabric, BMS, management networks. Configure and validate switches, coordinate fiber/cabling remediation, manage hardware RMAs, and drive the first datacenter handover to production. Deployment Playbook Development: Build the repeatable deployment process that scales from double digit Megawatt to Gigawatt deployments. Define pre‑deployment checklists, turn‑up procedures, validation gates, and handover criteria. Document blockers, failure modes, and workarounds. Create the operations manual that allows future deployment engineers to execute independently with minimal guidance. Cross‑Functional Orchestration: Partner with DC Operations (rack/stack, power, structured cabling), ICT teams (fiber validation, insertion loss), Hardware (device staging, logistics), and Network Engineering (design review, config validation) to drive deployments to completion. Own the critical path - identify blockers within hours, escalatethe decisively, and ensure nothing stalls deployment timelines. Field Execution Leadership: Lead deployment teams in the field - coordinate travel, assign work, provide technical guidance during complex turn‑ups, and ensure quality standards. Build trust with datacenter partners through hands‑on problem solving and accountability. Handover Excellence: Define and enforce exit criteria for production handovers to Network Operations. Ensure every fabric meets standards for physical layer validation (OTDR traces, insertion loss), logical configuration (BGP/EVPN validation, reachability tests), observability (monitoring integration, alerting), and documentation (as‑built, cutsheets, runbooks). Own the relationship with Operations to ensure smooth transitions. About You Proven Deployment Leadership: 8+ years in network engineering with significant datacenter deployment experience. You've built large‑scale fabrics from the ground up - not just designed them, but physically turned them up in the field. You understand the gap between design and reality, and you know how to close it through detailed planning and relentless execution. AI Fabric Expertise: Deep hands‑on experience with modern datacenter fabrics - EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, CLOS topologies, high‑radix switching. Ideally, you've deployed AI/ML fabrics with RDMA (RoCEv2), lossless Ethernet (PFC, ECN), or equivalent high‑performance networking. You understand the precision required when every packet matters. Player‑Coach Mentality: You're equally comfortable getting hands on and building the team that scales beyond you. You've mentored, and developed engineers before. You know when to lead by example and when to delegate. You see building a team as part of the mission, not a distraction from technical work. You've seen what "good" looks like at scale and can adapt those lessons to a fast‑growing startup. Vendor Ecosystems: Deep familiarity with Arista, Juniper, or NVIDIA networking platforms. You know the quirks, the failure modes, and the workarounds. You have relationships with vendor TAC/SE teams and know how to escalatethe effectively. Automation Mindset: Exposure to network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python) and source‑of‑truth systems (Netbox, DCIM). You may not be writing automation yourself, but you understand how to design deployments that are automatable and you partner effectively with automation engineers. Project/Program Management: Formal or informal experience with project coordination, Gantt charts, critical path management, and cross‑functional program execution. You've been the person who keeps complex initiatives on track when everyone else is focused on their own domain. Startup Experience: You've built something from scratch before - ideally in a high‑growth infrastructure or cloud company.     SCA New Hampshire Conservation Corps Project Leader The SCA NH Conservation Corps Project Leaders (2) plays a crucial role in the success of the conservation program, working closely with the Trail & Program Operations Specialist and to train, supervise, and support three field crews of corps members completing technical trail projects, habitat restoration and visitor-use structure construction throughout New Hampshire. SCA NH Corps crews use traditional trail skills, carpentry skills, restoration techniques, and physical labor to complete an array of projects while camping on 11-day hitches. Typical projects include trail construction & maintenance, rock stairs, carpentry, bridge construction, impacted site restoration, invasive vegetation removal and historic preservation. The program works in partnership with New Hampshire State Parks and AmeriCorps and serves throughout the state including the White Mountain National Forest. The Project Leader is largely a field-based position spending approximately 80% of time traveling during the conservation service season to project sites. Location: Bear Brook State Park - Allenstown, NH Position Dates: 3/16/2026 - 11/6/2026 (Dates are slightly flexible) Key Duties & Responsibilities: As an SCA NHCC Project Leader you will serve as a teacher, supervisor, technical advisor, and role model for your crew. Facilitate team operations: tools & equipment, vehicles, worksite management, basecamp. Actively manage group dynamics and corps members' well-being in remote environments and at the Spruce Pond Camp program site. Actively manage project/member risk to maintain a safe work environment. Supervise and assist the work skills training of corps members. Manage the quality & technique of project outcomes. Promote leadership development within the team and evaluate success and potential. Manage relationships with agency partners and work collaboratively with public land agencies on program logistics. Ensure successful and timely completion of conservation service projects on public land. Assist SCA Trail & Program Operations Specialist in budget management and reconciliation. Represent SCA in a positive manner. Regular travel to work locations to support projects and camp with crews. Marginal Duties Assisting staff with vehicle maintenance and shuttling, facility cleaning and maintenance, after-hours member check-ins, equipment maintenance, and any other assistance needed by agency partners. Contribute to mid-season and end of season member evaluations, day-to-day budget management, and participate in periodic staff meetings. Required Qualifications: 1-2 years prior experience in supervising young adults in an outdoor setting. Previous trail construction experience and knowledge. Camping, hiking, and backcountry experience. Ability to perform manual, physical labor for up to 10 hours per day, exposed to the elements, and lift and/or move 60+ pounds. Ability to camp and hike for extended periods of time, up to 11-days. Ability to access remote work locations and travel over rough, steep, & rocky terrain. Experience/certification with chainsaw required - ability to recertify during the position. Strong communication, leadership skills and strong work ethic are required. Self-starter, ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must understand, enact and uphold project, crew community, basecamp, vehicle, and additional safety standards set through SCA's policies Commitment to mentorship, teamwork, learning, and problem-solving. Live and work in a multi-gendered, multi-cultural communal environment, sharing common spaces and communal meal settings each day. Able to self-regulate or co-regulate emotions and actions when distressed or uncomfortable, with or without the support of others. Have working knowledge of safely operating power and hand-tools. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Must have the ability to legally work in the US. Must have a valid driver's license for 3+ years and MVR that meets SCA standards. Ability to meet SCA's criminal background check standards. Successfully complete a Health Screening Questionnaire before the position start date. Must have personal vehicle, mileage reimbursement available for work-related travel. Preferred Qualifications USFS Thinking Sawyer B Level Chainsaw Certification. Experience/certifications with rigging/Griphoist preferred; ability to certify during the position. Wilderness First Responder and CPR certification a plus-ability to recert through program. Backcountry experience Experience working and/or living in community settings. Trailer Driving Experience Compensation & Benefits: Salary: $800/week Housing & utilities provided - private rustic cabin with wood stove.
